  3. clone: takes minimal light. I do tons of clones under a 13w cfl.  Howl ong it takes pedends on your cloning methods and how well they work for you. You can get roots in a week or it can take a month.

veg: medium/strong light. I recommend about 50w per square foot of cfl for solid veg growth. again, timing depends on condtion of the palnt and stuff. You basically want to veg until you fill up your canopy, then flip to flower...so that by the end you ahve a space packed with buds instead of a bunch of empty areas where the plant didn't fill out.

flower: you want about 100w psf of cfl for fat buds. Most strains can be finished in about 8-9 weeks(don't listen to breeder times) ...taking a strain longer can increase potency, yields and flavors. Harvesting earlier will have decreased potency, yield and flavor...and will waste a ton of time. The buds pack on the most weight right at the end of flower...alot of new growers see big hairy buds and think the plant is done, by the time those buds dry you lose 80% of the size weight...I've seen guys harvest big bushy plants early thinkin they're gonna get ounces, only to end up with an 1/8

It's hard to say what's up with your plants with such limited info. I'd guess overwatering, lights are too far away, they might need transplant, miracle grow soil?...just guesses though, those are the most common problems I see with new growers. Make sure you're letting your plants dry a bit between watering...they need just as much air/oxygen as they do water/nutes. Watering too often literally drowns them. Try to get into the habit of lifting up those cups and feeling the weight of them. That will tell you how much moisture is left in the soil and tell you when to water.

  5. if you're gonna do a sog grow, as a beginner, then you should do some reading of stickies. i suggest no larger than a 1 gal. container, as your final size.

  6. Lol man I've read and read and watched tutorials and read some more and read lol its fun to learn the variety ways to grow, so much that sometimes its overwhelming. I hope to master the techniques someday. I've learned so much but I've got a long ways to go. Thanx I will look into stickies

Long time since I've updated but I wanted to post that out of all my plants that were in distress only 5 have made it through their battle so far. I've put my sog grow on a back burner for now till I have some success with these girls. Also I'm Slowly buying better equipment buying better nutes, and reading on hydroponics. I still have a future goal of 1-2 lbs per month but realistically speaking I've got a lot to learn. uploadfromtaptalk1407723608212.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1407723628443.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1407723649038.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1407723669581.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1407723696187.jpg
