This is where I'm at. The case is light proof. Two fans out, one in. Bulbs are 23w. I need suggestions on pot size, soil, nutes.
looks good, might wanna make the intake a little bigger and just remove the fan. fox farm ocean forest is a popular choice for soil...might want to lighten it up a little bit with perlite or coco though if your'e starting seeds. People have mixed results starting seeds directly in it.
Hi there nice setup you got, is that uk socket's on the power strip there? was just wondering because i am going to build a pc grow and that was the one thing i was having trouble to find is socket adapters for the cfl's to be powered from the power strip.

In the UK more than likely your CFLs will be the bayonet cap socket type. All you need is an adaptor which you'll find at the hardware store or even easier online. The adaptor will be called 2 - pin to bayonet adaptor or something along those words. http://www.maplin.co.uk check them out they may have what you need.
I have 7 healthy looking seeds of mostly haze strains. I don't know specifically since I rarely come across them and I've had them for a couple years
Hey bro, the setting up of lights isn't too hard, all you need a power plug/cord and then you can wire the light sockets yourself, this is easily youtube able, if your powerchords have an earth, I would not worry about it too much just electrical tape it off as it won't have any use, because lighting fixtures are easy, i am struggling to explain this, but another simple thing u can do is pull apart as lamp and you'll get a good idea of how it works. I have managed to use the switches from lamps in the past as well, they are not neccessary either but I think they help and you can place the switch anywhere if you just want turn off power. If you want to look into it, you can set up 2 switches so if need be you can control which lights you are using by Looping at the switch or Looping at the light. I am too setting up a pc stealth but, my grow knowledge is worse than my electrical knowledge, I will have a beast set up with terrible nutes and general care plan. I will probably have far too many toys in my case and will overcomplicate the whole thing.
6 seeds went to damped towel and zip lock bag on friday night. Didn't know what would happen since I've had those seeds for a couple years. Three of them sprouted. Today the went to happy frog soil from fox farm. The plan is to give them a week on those solo cups just feeding tap water to then transplant to a final pot. They are set to 18/6 and I had to temporarily remove the back light trap to fit these three. Only one will be transplanted, the other two will most likely be used for a solo cup experiment. If any if you guys have any input is greatly appreciated.

Here and subbed! You are going to need to do some serious LST training if you want to grow a plant in there buddy! Bearing in mind your plant will double/triple when it's flipped to flower, so be aware of the size. You wonna do some training so it grows like this But on a slightly smaller scale. Haze won't be the best strain for in there eifer... I would go for a northern lights, because they are very resilient and low smelling so would be perfect in there. Thanks chef and thanks for offering your help, it will come handy very soon. NL and sensi star are my favs, is good to know that NL will lend itself for My pc bondage cage. Lst is what I plan on doing starting as soon as I can. Also, only one of these will stay. The other will be sacrifice or solo cup learning experiments. The seed I had laying around and my assumption is haze because that's the strain of choice in Washingtonhaze, NY. The pot I'm using is the one in one of the earlier pics. Hopefully I'll transplant in a corner and tie it down almost horizontal to the other side. I'll ask for help when I'm there.
