\n\tChris Christie to get a glimpse of Colorado in wake of marijuana remarks
TRENTON - Three months ago, Gov. Chris Christie slammed Colorado's "quality of life" after the state legalized marijuana.
This week, he'll get a first-hand view of it.
\nChristie is about to embark on a two-day trip to the state as part of his ongoing, whirlwind tour of the U.S. in his role as chairman of the Republican Governors Association. He's slated to campaign for GOP gubernatorial nominee Bob Beauprez on Wednesday in Denver, appearing with the former congressman at an RGA fundraiser in the afternoon and a retail stop at night.
\nOn Thursday, Christie will head to Aspen to participate in RGA events in the early afternoon and a public conversation with fellow Republican governors Rick Scott of Florida, Sam Brownback of Kansas, Nikki Haley of South Carolina and Scott Walker of Wisconsin at the Aspen Institute later in the evening.
\nIn April, Christie was asked on his monthly radio show about the idea of legalizing the recreational use of marijuana in New Jersey - something he said will never happen on his watch.
\n"Go to Colorado and see if you want to live there," the potential 2016 presidential candidate said. "See if you want to live in a major city in Colorado, where there are head shops popping up on every corner, and people flying into your airport just to get high. To me, it's not the quality of life we want to have here in the state of New Jersey." 'snip'

  2. Fuck that guy...the quality of life in NJ is going down the toilet..

Toll roads, jobs being lost, high property taxes, crime going up,heroin usage in teens rising.

  3. Checking in from Colorado, here. As far as quality of life goes... No way in hell I'd move to new Jersey, even if someone offered to pay me.

  4. C. Christie is a walking turd.  This right wing nut job believes he is on the right side of "the people".  It couldn't be further from the truth.  NJ's quality of life sucks and this pos is more concerned with internet gambling then the health of the people he's been voted into office to protect.  The only thing he's protecting is his own special interests.

I hope this fat fuck gets cancer and can't eat w/out the help of the most healing plant in the world.  I also hope one of his kids gets busted for mj possession and he has to face the fear of jail time for his kids.  I fucking hate him.

But here's the beauty of him running for the presidency....    he'll have to resign his governorship...can't run for president w/out the help of Wall Street and you can't take those high end contributions while being an elected official.  It's illegal so that turd will be out of office sooner then later.

With any luck he'll go broke doing that and won't make it any further as a voice for "the people"....

and NJ sucks, dirty jerzey the armpit of the nation what a fucking joke..

  5. I read one article about him visiting Colorado in high times, and they predict that he'll try to get a glimpse at the marijuana industry while he's there just to try and use it as ammunition against any policy reform back in New Jersey. It terrifies me to think that this piece of shit is considering running for president in 2016, and today I read that he got the highest GOP candidate rating by a narrow margin in a phone survey conducted by CNN. But lots of things I've been reading have been saying stuff like the Republican Party doesn't really want him to be a nominee and that most voters are against him becoming president, and the comments section in news articles are mostly composed of people opposed to a Christie presidency.what do you guys think? I'm leaning towards him being eliminated in the primary if he does run, but that would kill me if he made it to the 2016 ballot, I can't stand that fat bastard!!

  6. I believe no Republican has a chance at the Presidency in 2016. Outdated views for one, party beliefs aren't inline with the changing culture. Stance on Gay Marriage will do them in.

  7. Hope someone blows a fat hit into his fat face.

  8. Chris' jerk routine and being nothing but a complete ass does not work outside New Jersey, if he gets the nomination its a guarantee that this fool looses another for the team (R)ocket.

  9. This is why Rand Paul should be president instead

Yes, everyone and their momma would love to live in Camden, NJ. The city is practically a police state, if it were a state... Yes, who would want to live somewhere were they actually treated people a little more like people.

  11. I also like how he "slams" a state that he personally has not visited prior to making his comments.

  12. Born and raised in New Jersey here. Our quality of life is so great man, know at least half a dozen teenagers who have had cops pull guns on them for weed.

(I'm not even from the shittiest part of Jersey, I'm from the rich white people part where there's barely any crime aside from marijuana possession)

  13. what part?

  14. Bergen County

  15.
If the Dems want to win, they'll help get Christie on the Pub ballot. ^^

If the independents want to win, they'll help christie and clinton get on their respective ballots, and offer up mr. Paul as an alternative to the false left/right paradigm that so many people are finally starting to realize needs to be disrupted.

Neither Neocons nor Neolibs need to be in any office.

Only Pro-Repeal (cannabis prohibition) candidates should receive votes.

Our Representatives need to represent US, NOT their corporate sponsors, who want to lobby for more laws to control us into their profits.

  16. haha.. "go to Colorado and see if you want to live in a major city there".. Meanwhile in Jersey those of us who can are fleeing from our major cities so our children or ourselves don't end up in a morgue.

  17. The fat man always puts his foot in his mouth. Five and a half years ago medical marijuana was approved. I'm all this time Christy has only opened 3 dispensaries, but when I checked the menu of one of them, it listed 0 strains. WTF?
Christy is an enemy in this assonine war.
The good news is that the state prpsecuter has already empaneled 2 grand juries to investigate Christy and his cronies, especially the Lutenant gov. He'll never be president! And probably won't be reelected . I wouldn't vote for him as a dog catcher!
