Qwiso And Decarb??

    So I recently discovered QWISO and I was wondering, how the Fuck do you decarb with alcohol?? That sounds like I'm tryin to blow my self up IMO. I've also heard you can use Shit that's jus been left to throw away, like stems, and roach weed. Of course the roach weed will contaminate it with ash, but who cares when your using stems? At the moment I got an oz of stems in the freezer with a quarter of roach weed, I was thinkin bout savin some keif to throw in as well, lemme know wat y'all think.

    You don't have to decarb hash oil silly.

    Don't decarb if you're doing a qwiso wash. 
    Also, don't worry about the roach weed "contaminating" anything lol, if you do it correctly you'll be good.


    Grind everything up into a nice fine almost powder subtance, put in all in a glass jar, and pour about 2-3oz of 91% isopropyl alocohol, shake for around 25-30 seconds, then strain it through a coffee filter into another jar or cup. Then either pour the substance on a plate and let it naturally evaporate, or you could use a double boiler if you're confident.

    I'm sorry man I'm new to this site lol. But that's wat I was thinking, only thing different is I wouldn't grind stems they got this fluffy substance that turns to powder and can add plant matter to the hash

    roach weed will already be partially decarb'd and dont ever grind qwiso runs unless you like black shit

    I've heard different meanings for decarbing weed. I want it set straight, what is decarbing and how is it done? I know its vital for edibles.

    Decarbing means decarboxylation.

    Meaning in simple terms turning THCA into THC which is what are body can absorb and gives us the effects.

    When you smoke or vape the heat instantly does the work.

    When you cook with it it's crucial to decarb the bud before mixing it with oil or butter.

    Keep in mind the age and moisture level of the weed is important because over time THCA breaks down naturally to THC. After a really long time it will break down into CBN which isn't what you want unless you're trying to make your own sleep aids. CBN won't get you high but more of stoned narcotic sleepy feeling. I actually like it and feels like your nodding...almost.

    Thanks to a great member of the community, we found out 230f for 15-30min in the oven is all you need for the weed to decarb.


    To decarb, place kief or moderately broken up bud in a oven safe bown or plate. Cover well with foil.
    After decarb let it cool to room temperature before opening up the foil.

    It should be dark green/golden brownish and crunchy. Remember not to overheat it as it will vaporize a lot of the THC and or turn it into CBN.

    You keep roachweed? Dude, that shit is dirty and contaminated, not to mention it's probably been nig-lipped by who knows how many heads. Either roast that shit in a bowl when you're done or throw it into a compost pile and give back to the earth.

    Have to agree with this, just washed my blender with iso and got a gram of black hash. Seems like such a waste to throw away, how do you grind large quantities of weed without losing a shitload of trichs to the inside of the blender?

    Ok, jus so you understand, i smoke a half oz every 2 days, a lot of stems build up. So my plan is to make hash out of them, but just stems wont be enoug. So why not throw a half oz of roaches with a an oz of stems. Obviously im not lookin for quality, but for those who get grumpy about roach weed, i did at least take off all the ASH. If i wanted quality hash i never would of brought up roaches, im jus a stoner tryna turn water to wine lol. In the end, its all leftovers from something ive bought. Jus tryna make use of it all 😁
