has anyone done regeneration? your thoughts on this and if you do how do you harvest buds before putting the plants back in 24 to regrow veg?
Most people know it as reveg , when you harvest, leave some small buds at the bottom of the plant, don't cut then off, that's where the new growth comes from. Most people say cutting out the rootball and repotting the rootball is best. [SUB]ive done it once with a poor outcome. I left what I thought was plenty of sites, cut about 1/3 of the root ball and followed a very good step by step replant and put it veg with the next group but it didn't do much. I was real new at the time tho. I wont do it again..too many strains out their to take that much time to save one when I can just get more seeds. my $02 worth [/SUB]
If you are revegging to get another harvest out of your plant you might be disappointed. However, if you are wanting to create a mother just harvest the buds and put her back under 24 hours of light. It helps if you leave a few small buds and as much leaf as possible. I wouldn't worry about the root ball right now. You can trim it later if you want to.
Yeah, revegging is mostly to clone. You're only gonna get half of the first harvest if u do revegg it. But I leave 4 buds at the bottom for best chances. Leaves and branches will grow out of the bud http://forum.grasscity.com/index.php?/topic/1305920-Kushgodrex%27s-First-Grow
