i havent owned a Nintendo console in 20 years. got Epic Mickey, Toy Story 3 and Super Mario Galaxy. im pretty excited. my last console purchase was my PS3 over 3 years ago.

Can't forget mario kart! I think the motion controls for it are pretty cool, but you can use the nunchuk or whatever the fuck it's called if you want to steer regularly. Zelda skyward sword is also amazing. Wii's are pretty cool, i've only played zelda, mario, and kirby games on it though lol.
When I had a wii I soft modded it to play downloaded games. Now I buy everything to support the developers. But it was nice to try games out before purchase. Please don't ask how to do that stuff here. Congrats on your pickup!
good stuff! theres a guy on my local craigs list who, for $40, will put a wii channel with "thousands" of games, new and classic. thats not what im after... i have interst in the Kirby game as ive seen some kirby on Ds before...
Well that "channel" is the soft mod. And you can play any game you want, if ya know how to get it for free
so i got a few hours with the machine and it turns out, most online services for the Wii are discontinued... my wife was disappoint. i didnt care. i got really into Epic Mickey! good game. my two complaints are concurrent with online reviews; lack of voice acting and the camera and how it decides on its viewpoints.
I'm sure there's some way to fix it with home brew software for the wii. I would google it. But cool that you're enjoying it. Love that feeling of a new game

get 'no more heroes' aswell,, its a really cool game and dirt cheap, one of crudest Wii-exclusive games Ive played
I wouldnt worry about online,, it was pretty shit anyway , worked well on mario kart and worked ok on smash bros but that was about it, (they were the only games you would want to play online anyway)
Got my sons refurb wii at gamestop. Have had it for about 4 months and it works perfect. Love playin the classic nintendo games .................................................... I dont do drugs, I set plants on fire and breathe.
meh. im not too big on Nintendo products. i got the Wii for my kids. thats why i got Toy Story 3, Epic Mickey, and Super Mario Galaxy. i play PS3(maybe PS4 one day). Skyrim and Gran Turismo 6. i also didnt know Wii's didnt have HDMI. Wii U probably does. but thats just another reason not to care about Wii online. i use my PS3 for Netflix.
