Well let me be the first to say congrats!!! Having your first child is scary/exciting!! Just relax and enjoy it. Having a baby with the wrong person can suck but that's not the babies fault/problem...just do what you need to do for the baby! This is going to be the best advice your going to get frm anyone! -life is going to get "real"!! But don't panic, relax and do what you gotta do! Panicking only makes things worse and doesn't accomplish anything. Also, you know your going to be a good farther if your constantly asking yourself, "I'm I a good farther?" "I'm i doing the right thing?". IMO people who arnt worrying if their doing the right thing or not usually are not!!! I had my first in Dec...she's 7mnts now, and eventhough it was rough as shit....I wouldn't trade any of it for the world!!! go with it if you truly feel you arent ready. my sister did this because the father refused to have anything to do with either of them. she was in a bad state too. the kids parents are family veterinarians in Colorado(i think). i know my sister and the kid has way more with them than my sister could ever provide.
You should really think about how committed you are to that relationship-without the baby factor-before you make the step of making a family...A child needs parents in a loving home-and that means people that love each other and are truly committed. It'd be very hard to give up a child, but put the child first in your mind-as far as what the best situation is..and would be.
