Amber Colored Oil

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by Ohno itsthecopz, Jul 22, 2014.

  1. So recently i have been making oil for brownies out of coconut oil, a little bud, stems, and what ever is in my pipe when im done smoking(ash and resin). I have done this for a few batches with great results. I just let the oil and other ingredients stew for 4-6hrs in a crockpot on low stirring occasionally. Then let it slowly strain through a coffe filter. The product is usually tinted green. This time however i just used resin out of my pipe(it old and had a lot of build up). Im noticing that it is amber rather than green why is this?

  2. less plant matter from resin
