It's far from ideal and can be harmful, but chances are you'll be fine smoking out of a bottle once in a while. There's no denying that glass is better, but plastic isn't going to kill you after a few sessions. Unless you smoke directly from plastic it is all good. If its been filtered, smoking from it would be as dangerous as drinking from it.
have you ever used the same water bottle for months on end? the plastic does somethign to the water and makes it taste nasty. i used to refill one at work everyday and had to stop because the water started tasting nasty. my gf at the time told me it wasnt good for you to reuse it that much
