Whats up guys, I just bought an ashcatcher and I'm about confused about how it works/how high the water should be. Here is a picture of it. It is a showerhead that sucks in smoke from the outside of the perc itself into a tube that then flows into the joint. What seems to be happening is the water will be filled about half an inch above the showerhead perc and when you hit the bong it is attached to the water bubbles up and flows into the bong itself. After this happens the water no longer goes through the perc because it has lowered to the very bottom of the showerhead perc. Does anyone have any idea of the proper water level?
