Dosage For Edibles

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by StephenEwan, Jul 21, 2014.

  1. Hey all, so today I'm planning on making my first batch of cannabutter / brownies and I just have a question on dosage. So usually I smoke out of a one-hitter, an around .25g gets me decently high. When I make my brownies, should I make them so that one brownie has .25g of weed in it? IE if I use 2 grams of weed then that'll be 8 brownies (I'm making a small batch). Does that seem right?
    Thanks

  2. You're in the ballpark.  I'd recommend using the equivalent of 0.5g of weed per serving (4g of weed total).  I've heard people say to use twice as much weed as you would normally smoke.  I make my edibles with about 0.3g/serving if I want to get a buzz but I'm kind of a lightweight.  Good luck.

  3. Okay, I'll probably still make each brownie have .25g then try that out first, and if it's not strong enough I'll just eat 2 brownies the next time
