Pax Vape Not Getting Any Smoke...

    I bought a pax vaporizer a week ago, but I can't get it to produce any sort of smoke.I have watched reviews on it and on how to use it and when the reviewer exhales you can see smoke;I follow the exact same recipe, but yet when I try it no visual of any smoke at all.I only pack it with about .2g and have it set at a medium temp.what am I doing something wrong? :huh:

    Quality_vape is the vendor i bought it from on ebay, yet i don't know if they are a authorized dealer.

    I'd get on to them about it. Shouldn't be having problems so soon after buying it..

    They Are definitely not an authorized dealer...Check two things for me: on the back of the unit, is the screw for a regular Phillips screwdriver or a Hex Key?
     
    When you take off the mouthpiece, is there a serial number printed near where the temp change button is?
     
    Sounds like you probably bought a knock-off which is why it wouldn't be working.

    you dont want any sort of smoke from a vaporizer, defeats the purpose of vaping in the first place :p

    It has hex key, and also a 7 digit serial # when i take off the mouth piece.

    ^ yea you have to pack it stupid full. Dump it in, pack it down, until it's full.

    Grind it up real good and pack the oven really good

    ok,il try to get as much as I can in the oven. Do you have any specific way of grinding it other than just using a grinder?

    Use a 2 piece grinder to get it real powdery

    OMG.   I vape every other night and gram lasts me over a month.    I only pack about .05gr or less per session and that gives me about 7 hits.    I don't use a Pax though.
     
    I know that the Pax is not the most efficient vape on the market, but that's insane.

    lol a gram for over a month? I actually like to vape a wide variety and amount of weed so the pax is great for you if you use a lot.

    j zammy, you probably aren't seeing visible vapor because, as others stated, you aren't filling it full enough. Also, if your weed is very moist, might not work as well either.

    Yup.    For me, about 3 hits does me just fine for a few hours and being that I only vape in the late evening, a gram lasts me a long time.
