I've been smoking for nearly 4 years now. My first time, I could barely structure a sentence, let alone walk around. When I get high now, it feels pretty much the same, but I've learned to control my body and speech so I can seem relatively "normal" while high in public. I mostly like getting high to listen to music and relieve stress.

I have a pretty low tolerance. I only need about 1/3 of a gram to get high and my highs last for 2-4 hours. My tolerance begins to build after doing it twice a day for a couple of weeks, but then I just take a short t-break for a week or so and I'm back to like my first time. Recently, I've been smoking about once every two days on average.

I read a lot on this forum that people never get as high as their first time. How true is this for you? I'm kinda worried that it will eventually happen to me because I really like getting out-of-my-mind stoned.

Also, I'm not sure how much this matters but I only smoke sativas. I usually use pipes or bongs. I quit joints a while ago because I'm so shit at rolling.

  2. it happens more when you become an all day every day type. if you keep your tolerance low you can get pretty stoned, but like you said it diminished a bit where you can control it. if you do it long enough youll get more and more control and eventually some of the magic wears off because of that

  3. Oh so you mean when people say you can't get as high as the first time, it's because you learn to control it?
Does the chilled out feeling ever go away?

  4. well its not so much you control it, you just get familiar with the feeling so it isnt as special. theres no reason it ever has to happen really though i guess. its all mental in a way.

weeds always gonna feel good, but with high tolerance its much more mellow mentally and less body sensation.

  5. Ohhh okay. I don't really care much for the body high anyway. I mostly like the euphoric and creative head high which is why I don't smoke indicas.

By controlling it, I mean I'm more aware of what I'm doing so I can react quicker if I'm doing something suspicious or stupid. The short-term memory loss will always be a problem though, so I try not to have conversations in public for too long haha.

  6. Experiment with different types, it's a new feeling with each one. Some strains are much stronger (the stuff in Amsterdam sat me down solid). You can also try with hash which is a different high

Im an everyday smoker and i can say i experience better highs now than my first time. I was young when i started, had no connections really so it was shitty weed. Unless you get top shelf bud your first time you can get better highs, and i have never met anyone who got good weed their first time unless they were with a seasoned stoner
