  6. Okay, I got those clones going in the tent. 2 Sublime MC, some sickly looking Purple Kush & I think 3 Ghost OGs, and a Bruce Banner. Got a PK in flowering chamber vegging, wife wants to flip to 12/12 this weekend I think. They've been vegging in the other side before the LED, the Mr. Majestic looks ok but the the Purp looks scrawny lol. I'll go down and take pix with phone right now. I'm just sitting here playing online games anyway ha! BRB... New pics coming up...

This is a BB that has been growing since last grow. We had to move it around a bit. Looks like we me have to toss it.

You are using soil and bottles this round?

Def wanna get that humidity up! I'm having the same problem wiht the cooler weather, so I stuck my humidifer back out in the garage area and its keeping it about 55-60% right now. the plants will perk up and grow quicker if you get that RH up homie. :)

  9. I can tell it's good info... Cause it makes sense. Thanks for the know how.

  10. Oh by the way everybody!

My Halloween movie of the day so far is Face Off! I saw it when I was a teen, and forgot how creepy this shit is. Good so far! The dude said, when the Doctor asked Castor Troy, "Whaat do you want?" take one goddamn guess! Pardon my language, but that scene gave me chills! 🎃🎃 I'm gonna be in the presence of two witches tonight... Hahaha. Uh, I hope I don't get tricked. 👻

How high does the rH have to be... Wife wants to flip to flower tomorrow, but I thought it best to leave em vegging and get the humidity up first. Her thought is go ahead and flower; as in doing so the humidity doesn't much matter as long as it under 50%.
    Or does it? Thanks!

My rooms are usually 50-60%....they would be much lower if I wasn't using Swicking Totes under my Smart Pots....really helps!  And when I'm drying, I have a warm mist humidifier ($35 Bed, Bath & Beyond LOL) that I put just outside with the door cracked...keeping the RH% at 60-70%.....higher the temps, lower the RH = drying too fast!  You can lose & damage a harvest in a matter of hours if you're not careful!  Go ahead & flip, Ty....If the RH% is too high for some reason, use more fans to circulate the air, if too low you can use wet towels or humidifier...or even a bucket of water...thing is, if too high you run the risk of PM/Molds, etc....I haven't had a problem with it & sometimes my RH% will get in the 80's after watering, etc....I just turn on all the fans & blow it out!

~Sundance~  does that answer your question???  Iron, add something???  LOL

EDIT::  Black Gold Organic is good shit & much cheaper than the Fox Farms....good for seedlings & clones...but are you using bottled nutes during Veg & Flower???  I started out with FF Grow Big for Veg & Tiger Bloom for Flowering...but now I use EWC/Kelp/Molasses teas...but I must admit, if something is looking a bit "off" I will mix a small amt of Grow Big & give it to them...I'll do this until the bottle is completely gone...waste not, want not  LOL

  15. @sundance6758 where do I find the swicking totes? I tried looking them up and didn't see anything about them. Yesterday I put a small humidifier outside the cabinet intake hole and the rh went up a little but not enough. We really want the plants to perk up a little before flipping to flower so we know they are nice and healthy.

  16. Ok, a swicking tote is a container that is filled with Perlite....you water the Perlite/Tote & the Smarties basically water themselves....Another member, Noobwannab's (I'll find the thread & post the link) came up with a way to water Smart Pots...they can be a pain in the ass to work with sometimes...hard to water, etc....Anyhow, I gave it a shot last year & was amazed how well it worked!  Beautiful fat roots that "reach" outside of the Smartie for the water perlite....I was ill (pneumonia) for 3 weeks earlier this year & it saved my flowering ladies...I would just water the tote & they would take what they wanted...

Anyhow, I use 62qt flat plastic totes...it will hold 2 plants in 10gal Smart Pots sitting side-by-side....I took a solo cup & cut out the bottom, sunk it into the perlite so I could fill & monitor the water under the perlite....you want to keep the water approx. 2" below the perlite bed...that way the Smart Pot isn't saturated with water....this also works for hard pots, but NOT as well....I'll look up the thread right now &  also go down & take some pics of mine....I have 5 Swicking Totes being used right now, but have room in my flowering room for at least 4-5 more....I'll be back!  LOL

    ~Sundance~  coffee!   & wake Ty up....LMAO!

  17. OK.....here is Noob's thread on Swicking....

Also, some pics I just took.......I use totes with wheels...easier to move around...also NOT 62qt, they are 67qt....oops!  LOL  I also line the tote with plastic, just to be safe from leaks...

Blueberry & Minion City Diesel in a tote Blue & MCD + Totes (800x578).jpg   Fill with totes with this ($16 at H. Depot)  Perlite #1 (598x800).jpg   But save some to mix with this:  BlkGold #1 (600x800).jpg EcoScraps #1 (600x800).jpg EWC & amend (800x600).jpg   And mix all in this:  Sw Pool #2 (800x596).jpg   And you will get a lot of this  Betsy Cola #1 (600x800).jpg MCD Bud #1 (599x800).jpg

    ~Sundance~  LOL :bongin:  :yay:

  18. Ok... I'm thinking our humidifier is not working. Possibly a filter problem, not sure. Can't get the humidity to pass 30% the 2 plants in there look rough. You probably don't need a pic to believe me. So the plan is to just flip em to 12/12 as the humidity is better under 50% anyway. What's you guys thoughts on such a plan. I'm guessing the yield doesn't much matter during these first few grows.... I have 2 Indica dominates in there. I gotta do something soon or they are not going to be happy. Star recommends just switching & giving them a boost with liquid silica.

  19. The ultrasonic humidifiers are best.. the ones with the filters suck balls. I got a couple different kinds of both and the ultrasonic one is by far the best.

Go ahead and make the switch mayne. :smoke:

I got the Bed, Bath & Beyond cheapy...works great!  Holds 1 gal of water, with a low & High setting....Warm mist!  You can stand there & watch it pump out the moisture....I go with whatever works & is cheap!  I'm OLD, go figure....LMAO!   Anyhow, mine doesn't have any kind of "filter" that I can see....& once the RH% is up, I can switch it to LOW & it'll hold there for quite awhile....works great at night!  I fill it before going to bed & it still has H2O in it when I get up....it has a automatic shut off when H2O is gone....I don't have to run it much during flower due to Swicking Totes, but with harvest & drying I run it all the time....

~Sundance~  Do whatever works for you!  This is when you "tweek" your grow, Ty...so that you know what works & what doesn't for next time around...everybody's technique & growing areas are different, plus your environmental shit...fix it!  LOL  :yay:

EDIT::  Go ahead & flip....& the silica will only help!
