    Hi people.stumbling across youtube today i came across a marijuana cookery series,presented by some hot Canadian lady who goes by the name 'watermelon' anyways basically it was the usual.... Butter,brownies,cakes,muffins etc etc. Thing is i don't have a sweet tooth,never had as a child and not now either.I do however live up to that old Irish stereotype that we all like a drink.I rarely consume my cannabis orally,maybe once or twice in Amsterdam and the odd hash tea here at home.Anyways this Canadian goddess reckons i can stuff all the trim,in fact every part of the plant into a jar,throw vodka in and a couple of months later,voila weed vodka.im well aware that thc is soluble in fats and alcohol,i make my hash tea by heating the hash in alcohol.however,if the goddess is to be believed,and dear god i wanna believe her,this recipe requires no heat.I kinda like the idea of something brewing up for months and months until i can pull it out and share with my nearest and dearest.Does this recipe work?or have i just been taken in by the seductive charms of the host 'watermelon' ?

    Are you able to order from an online off license based in the UK mainland? If you can and it'll get through alright then you can get 176 proof vodka from drinksupermaket.co.uk. I know for a fact that it works very well  ;)

    i doubt it would get through mate. We have stuff in ireland called poteen,its basically moonshine/grain alcohol with a 95%alcohol content.only problem is that drinking poteen is like playing russian roulette lol,and it tastes rank too!

    Lol, I've had poteen before in another life, it was rank! If you could get some from a trusted source that won't make you blind then it would work, if not do you know anyone in the UK that could bring some over to you?

    surely you have a gin or some other clear alcohol over 80 proof? if not you could always distill the vodka further......otherwise it will work with vodka it just wont be able to absorb as many noids so it wont be as potent

    Well of course,the recipe that i seen used bombay sapphire gin,widely available here in ireland.40% alcohol,or 80proof in north america

    i have a bottle of knob creek bourbon here,50% alcohol,so 100 proof.I really enjoy drinking this stuff,and its not cheap,but its the strongest that can be found (legally) in Ireland. So,i plan to do a test run with 200ml with 1.2g of trainwreck and a tiny bit of kief.I plan to drink all this myself,and chase it with a couple of beers.when i get the dosage right ill make up a bigger batch for sharing.opinions?too much weed?not enough? thanks guys

    dude get a bottle of 151, cook the weed into it and enjoy! It's actually pretty easy, my buddies and I accidentally stumbled across this idea, and we made it and called it "weed 51" it was so dank

    im in Ireland bro,no such thing as everclear or bacardi 151 in this green and pleasant land:( standard Irish whiskey (not scotch nobody drinks that foul liquid from the devils cauldron over here) is 40% alcohol.Anything over 40% alcohol,or 80% proof for my American friends is extremely heavily taxed,knob creek at 100 proof is about as strong as it gets,We might have a reputation as a nation of drinkers,but to be a bona fida drunk in Ireland requires a serious bankroll :) i also want to do the process over a matter of weeks/months,ive been brewing up hash tea using the alcohol method for years
