  2. Try BUY THE MC ( BLUE/GREEN BAG) other have the time release ferts that can harm seedlings. ...or mix bag with topsoil 1/3

If u use it cut 30% w/perlite, no nutes in veg, transplant 1 month in to the final container, total veg of 2 months, then switch to Flowering using AN sensi bloom + extras, AMAZING RESULTS

  4. How did you get from a gnat flying out of the bag to aphids and especially root aphids with no roots present?

    That is some extrapolation!

    Wet

  5. Clearly his bag came with roots included. Lmfao

But yet " don't tell me to get different soil, MG is fine " giggling uncontrollably.

you could scrape up better soil from a ditch and have better chance of no mutating gnats.

But seriously, pre-treat your soil with amendments that should have these bugs dead by the time you plant and the soil is cooked and ready to use.
Examples like diatomaceous earth, neem oil mixed in the water you wet your soil with, neem cake, whatever you can think of. Good luck with the " fine soil grow " .

  7. dude ALL ORGANIC SOIL ATTRACTS GNATS they like the rich organic material in it and MG isnt the only soil to get gnats

  8. gnats lay eggs that hatch into larvae... the larvae feed on the shit in the soil and when thats gone they go after your roots... so excuse me if i said ROOT aphids... its the same thing if you think about it theres a shitload of species of hmmhmhmm... aphids

i ment the gnats larvae which eventullly turn into aphids

  9. yea ok boss. YELL SOME MORE IT MAKES YOU LOOK SO MUCH SMARTER. I was not debating or saying MG was the only to get or have gnats and you are very wrong, if you buy quality you get quality, and then you take care of your soil to not promote such pests. Thanks for being so intelligent ABOUT IT!

  10. Put the soil in a black trash bag and use solar energy of the sun to cook the fuck out of them. It could get 150F in the plastic.

I have used MG OC and did fine. Like you said, any soil can get gnats.

  11. It was a joke, good sir.

  12.
Gnat larvae turn into gnats, not aphids. Totally different insects and about the same thing as a bear and a chipmunk because they both live in the woods.

    Wet

  13. o well what i read then was completet bullshit... so i wont really have to worry about gnats?

If you have gnat larvae, you will have gnat problems.

If you have aphid larvae, you will have aphid problems.

Wetdog meant that gnats will never "turn into" aphids, nor will aphids turn into gnats.

If you saw gnats flying out of the bag from the moment you opened it, you probably have a gnat problem.  The other point Wet was making is that, so far, you have no evidence of an aphid problem, root or otherwise.  You do have evidence of a gnat problem..... including the MG label on the bag (couldn't resist.....)

  15. THANK YOU .... ^^^^^^^^^^

Things were getting a bit surreal here, gnat larvae morphing into root aphids of all things. Butterflies would be Ok, but root aphids!?!

  16. I'm pretty sure chipmunks lay bear eggs...right?
