Help With Arizer Solo

Discussion in 'Vaporizers' started by Futurevaporizer, Jul 19, 2014.

  1. So I got surgery about a week ago. I got a metal bar put inside my chest to fix the indented chest. It is a very painful surgery. So my Arizer Solo will be here tomorrow and I just wanted to know what heat setting I should set it to as I can not cough. It will hurt really bad. So that's why I was wondering what setting I may need to use. I have plenty of herb so wasting it isn't a problem.

  2. Just take more smaller hits instead of a few big rips and you should be good my man.

  3. Alright man cool. So does the setting matter? If not what is a good setting?

Any setting that heats it up just fine. I don't have a solo but another vape and i don't even recall ever coughing from vapor unless you draw it for a while and keep it in really long. So read up on the heat settings of that on google or probably another thread an you should be good 2 go.

  5. Setting 5 and up if I get too big of a rip I'll cough, but 4 and under isn't an issue for me. If I were you I'd start at 2 or 3 to be on the safe side, and work my way up from there. Good luck on your recovery!

  6. Thank you very much! I am so excited to get my solo tomorrow! How do you like yours?

  7. I've been using my solo for a year and a half and I love it. It produces nice clouds and is just as portable as I need it. As far as a portable goes this one is personally the best for me currently due to price, vapor production, ease of use, and how easy it is to tuck it away in a nightstand or drawer.

  8. Wow sounds like a great vape then :D How many draws can you get off a bowl?

  9. Put it this way, it automatically shuts off after 12 minutes of being turned on... I start on a 3 or 4 usually and puff on it every 40 seconds or so, I don't really keep track... After it shuts off, I run it for another 12 minutes on a 5 or 6 and keep getting vapor until maybe the last minute or two.

  10. I fill my stem to the top with a loose pack and start my vape at 5 then bump it to 6 mid session to finish it off and get good clouds the whole time. I've never actually counted my puffs, but I'd say anywhere from 15-25 long slow draws depending on the quality/type of herb.

  11. Even with lower temp, you still get throat irritation. I use mine with bong and its very smooth on the throat.

  12. 4 or 5.

If I go higher my throat will be all fucky the next day. I dont really enjoy it higher then preset5.

  13. Sry to hijack but wow I think there it's something definitely wrong with my Solo then cause I only get like 5 or 6draws till my herb is brown.. I usually start on 3 or 4 and slowly go up. I'd suggest 3 setting.

  14. What the guy a few posts above said, anywhere from 15-25 draws should be typical. I have had plenty of seshes where I can get 30, 35+ nice draws of vapor from my solo. I usually use setting 3 or 4. Setting 4 has noticeably thicker clouds than 3. but if you want to keep the smell on the DL the lower settings will be best. If smell isn't an issue, Id use 4-6. setting 4 is 383*f which is ideal for vaping, anything past 6 and your in the 400s now, getting close to combustion.
