Roots Growin Thru Buckets

  1. So I have some nice ladies growing in five gallon buckets, they have been in the same spot for abou 2 1/2 months and now I want to move em. Problem is that roots have grown thru holes in buckets and I don't want to rip em. Will they hermie if I do??? Stunt them?? Little help would be appreciated. Ladies are from seed and are about 4' tAll now. Thanks

    I had the same problem, so I cut the pot away from the roots. If height is not an issue you could also put the pot on top of another pot, Which I do anyway. So I can then lift out the single pot and I have plenty of roots when I put them in dwc. There drip fed before that.

  3. A credit to you for keeping those roots fresh, as in many cases exposed roots dry out ...then shrivel up and drop off(aero prune) ...you should be fine,, and yes drop on top of another full pot is an option or better just pot up, b4 bud hopefully so when you get some bud stretch the roots will have some place to grow
