So I've been thinking about taking my growing outside. What but I have a big question. Is there something I have to do from transition to flower? Or does it only happen at certain times? Sent from my SCH-S738C using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Outside I believe plants start to flower mid august if I'm not mistaken? But no they automatically change when daylight become shorter than 12 hours. Unless they're auto-flowering, then whenever they are ready. Sent from my SGH-I337M using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Outside, the 12/12 does not apply, that is indoor growing. They will usually start to flower when the daylight gets around 13/14 hours a day or Mid July - August. When you see them start to flower, the only thing you change is the fertilizer, something with less N and more P/K. Good Luck!
Ooohh yeah forgot they can flower under like 14-16 hours. Sent from my SGH-I337M using Grasscity Forum mobile app
OK so if I was to go outside be best to get auto flower? Sent from my SCH-S738C using Grasscity Forum mobile app
If You want to flower Your plant before the seasons change, You can put a tarp (no light must shine through) over Your plant. You can even build a stand to hold the tarp about Your plant. Just make sure That the tarp fully covers Your plant from top to bottom. Hope I helped! Also, calculate the timing so it simulates 12/12
I felt like getting crafty. After all isn't that part o growing? Here is a picture I made. Takes extra work, but if You want to be discret and flower faster here is what to do. Dig hole Line with plastic Place plant in hole Cover with good plastic Cover plastic with shovel'd grass Bonus points: put a flower in a container over it to be more discrete.
