  3. I think average is above 150 however they seem to be home made rockets and majority ( over 97-98% according to Israel resources ) are stopped by Iron Dome

  4. So if 200 get launched 4-6 get through

    Wow such a brutal attack

  7. Where do i get my info? Im looking at them being lunched out of gaza.

Lucky us to have the israeli created american funded iron dome. That doesn't give them the option to fire even one rocket, Israel will fire back hell.

  8.
No, but they should have.  Then maybe the Palestinians woud have been left alone.

  9. You can't say we all are war mongering socialist but you can say our government is and we are all responsible and suffer the consequences for what our government does, even if we disagree.

  10. Who said anything about the nazi? ... You can put words in other members mouth.. Not over here.

The current conflict is only against Hamas and its because of their missiles firing into Israel & the massive terror tunnels leading to israeli town.

  11.
That is only from your own perspective Tom for the majority on Grasscity ( at least the one's that choose to contribute to these threads ) clearly see it differently.

Why don't you try to see/understand the reasons why others are not agreeing with you

  12.
Everything the Jews are doing have been doing since approx 1935 has been mass murder, slavery, terrorism, etc. Bombing, killing, raping. It's common knowledge that Palestinian retaliation is a fraction of the atrocities Israel has committed and still commits. If Palestine bombs 5 soldiers in retaliation for their country being stolen, Israel responds with a hundred deaths of Palestinean Arab civilians.

Hamas could call for forgiveness of Israel's atrocities in return for peace and freedom for his people, but that would mean he would have no chance of reclaiming the power and wealth he could have by having Palestine under his control.

lol my only perspective only? Are you taking lsd?

The only reason israel is operating in gaza is Hamas.
If Israel were targeting civilians like these Hamas pussies do, you would see by now 1 million citizens dead.

    Hamas is the only target.
Civilians get hurt because if Hamas operating with in civilians areas and that will not stop israel.

  14. we are only responsible if you believe our votes count (they don't)

Short of civil disobedience, revolution, and not following orders in the military, we have no way to control things.

If yous really saying its our fault that our soldiers don't resist orders then I agree.

Tom you do realise that we are conducting a discussion as members within here and I even mentioned Grasscity contributor members to this thread.  So i have no idea how you bring the lsd inside the subject.

  17. Most US aid to Israel came after the Six Day War. Stephen Zunes recounts why it was a good investment:

"Israel has helped suppress victories by radical nationalist movements in Lebanon, Jordan, and Yemen, as well as in Palestine. The Israeli military has kept Syria, for many years an ally of the Soviet Union, in check, and its air force is predominant throughout the region. Israel's frequent wars have provided battlefield testing for American arms. Israel has also served as a conduit for U.S. arms to regimes and movements--such as apartheid-era South Africa, Iran, Guatemala, and the Nicaraguan contras--too unpopular in the United States for overt and direct military assistance. Israel's military advisors have assisted the contras, the Salvadoran Junta, and other governments allied with the United States; its secret service has assisted the United States in intelligence gathering and covert operations. Israel has hundreds of intermediate-range ballistic missiles and has cooperated with the U.S. military-industrial complex regarding research and development for new jet fighters, antimissile defense systems, and even the Strategic Defense Initiative. No U.S. administration wants to jeopardize such an important relationship."

    - Stephen Zunes, "Continuing storm: The U.S. role in the Middle East," Global Focus: U.S. Foreign Policy at the Turn of the Century, Martha Honey and Tom Barry, eds. (New York: St. Martins Press, 2000), p. 249

Benjamin Beit-Hallahmi makes a similar point:

"An American military expert--Major General George Keegan, a former air-force intelligence officer--has been quoted as saying that it would cost U.S. taxpayers $125 billion to maintain an armed force equal to Israel's in the Middle East, and that the U.S.-Israel military relationship was worth "five CIAs." There can be no doubt that from the U.S. point of view, the investment in Israel is a bargain, and the money well spent."   - Benjamin Beit-Hallahmi, The Israeli Connection: Who Israel Arms and Why (New York: Pantheon, 1987), pp. 196-98.     As for earlier US support for Israel, it wasn't anywhere near as strong as it would become decades later, but it was still quite onesided:

"I'm sorry, gentlemen, but I have to answer to hundreds of thousands who are anxious for the success of Zionism. I do not have hundreds of thousands of Arabs among my constituents."

President Harry Truman  On the creation of the state of Israel

Quoted in Donovan, "Conflict and Crisis", p. 322.

President Truman later noted, "The facts were that not only were there pressure movements around the United Nations unlike anything that had been seen there before, but that the White House, too, was subjected to a constant barrage. I do not think I ever had as much pressure and propaganda aimed at the White House as I had in this instance. The persistence of a few of the extreme Zionist leaders - actuated by political motives and engaging in political threats - disturbed and annoyed me."   -  Lenczowski, George. American Presidents and the Middle East.  p. 28, cite, Harry S. Truman, Memoirs 2, p. 158.

  18. I keep seeing people side with the Palestinians for the reason that Israel is dominating them. They are both wrong in their actions but Palestine has consistently been bombing and attacking Israel for years, It just seems like Israel has had enough.

Plus Palestine should have known Israel would destroy them so it's their own fault for starting it
