Jack comes to Amsterdam to find the father that he's never met and through a magical encounter finds the secret weapon that could turn his father's ailing marijuana shop around. A strain, the like of which this world has never seen…. Written and directed by the hugely talented Lennox Brothers this fairytale stoner comedy takes you on an amazing journey through the streets of Amsterdam to places many of us have visited. Beautifully shot the brothers have used the magic of the City as the perfect backdrop. It's hard to believe a stoner movie has never been set in Amsterdam, the smoking capital of the world! Wayne Lennox drew on his experiences living and working in the coffee shops for 7 years and joined forces with brother Lee himself an experienced animator. They have worked on music videos for Kasabian, Robbie Williams, Ellie Goulding, Chicane, The Editors, Bo Bruce, Rizzle Kicks, Kid Cudi (Day N Nite alone has over 100m YouTube hits). AmStarDam will be the brother's first feature film. The film has a very strong cast including Jonathan Readwin, Eline Powell, Eric Lampaert, Sean Power, Alice Lowe, Kenneth Collard and Billy Boyd from Lord of the Rings.
