How Much Weed Do You Through In A Year

Discussion in 'Seasoned Marijuana Users' started by GrandpaJonRedSox, Jul 15, 2014.

  1. Between my wife and I we go through about 3/4 of a pound now that we use the Underdog vaporizer. We used to go through about 12 pounds a year when we were smoking blunts. Now we grow so much in greenhouse we end up giving pounds away each year.

  2. On average about a gram a day. Too tired to do the math...

  3. Lol.. 365 days in a year so thats 365g/28g in an Oz. = just over 13 oz.

I probably go thru about 8-10 oz. in a year.

  4. When i was in College. Maybe close to a pound maybe more. Now, just not enough man.

  5. I used to go through kilos in the 70's, then pounds in the 80's then ounces in the 90's

Today, I may get a couple of grams of $30 a gram mids from Colorado Recreational dispensary if I'm lucky.

  6. About a 1/2 in a year.  Depends how much baking I do with it.

  7. 11/2 lbs.
    Two Ozs a month.

  8. Same here. But that's only counting smoked flower. Not hash and edibles that would probably bring it up to about 2lbs a year. Not including what I give to others..

  9. Actually probably a bit more before college. I did large scale grows in land unknown in New Hampshire..

  10. Isn't it legal to grow up to 6 plants in Colorado (3 flowering and 3 in veg). I grow in my greenhouse here and I harvest a couple pounds of awesome nugs every couple of months and all I pay for is soil and nutes. The sun is still free. Even the asshole politicians haven't figured out a way to charge us for using the sunlight, not yet anyway. I am pretty sure greenhouse grows are legal in Colorado as long as it is a locked greenhouse. Totally the way to go dude. Almost free weed.

  11. Mids cost 30 a gram???

  12.
Ill give u my address :D
I probably go through an ounce or 2 since I cut back. Also depends if my wife smokes with me or not..

  13. Probably close to 2 lbs plus bho and/or hash I make..But it depends, One year I got raided and didn't smoke as much. Maybe 3/4 lb. I hate paying for weed like a chump.

  14. Yeah. I don't pay much of anything for it these days, just the cost of soil and nutes. Sunlight is still free, until they find a way to tax you for using the suns rays my greenhouse gives me almost free bud.

  15. Greenhouses grows are the best for everything. I knew a guy who I talked to on skype. When it become legal in Washington he set up a greenhouse pretty quick. He had to trick it up cause the inconsistent sunlight there. He had climate control. Full range UV lights for periods with long rain. Carbon filters. Auto spray water system with integrated nutes with precision times injectors on it's set times. Quick adjustments can be made through a wireless system. Similar to how you can control aspects of your house when you have home security. Ventilation that sends out contaminated particles. It was a probably tens of thousands dollar set-up. It was completely excessive. The guy owned a fairly large software company. And some of the technology was patented by him. It was the most impressive thing I've ever seen done. I couldn't get a picture for security reasons. He was growing way more than he should of he had like 15 plants at a time. He had a med card. And also started a delivery service, cause his daughter had leukemia when she was young. After chemo. They authorized selective cannabis supplements. It's really a touching story.

  16. send some my way please

  17. I live in the bay area and I use to CFLs to supplement the sun when it is too rainy and during the winter months. Because it is always temperate here I don't have to do much of anything as far as climate control. The CFLs are just there to give the vegging plants 18 hours of light and the flowering plants 12 full hours. My set up is not nearly as elaborate as your friends but I too yield far more than we need. The sun grows lots of buds for me at very little cost. A greenhouse provides the best of both the indoor grow and the outdoor grow. You have full control over everything and you get free lighting.

  18. Yeah exactly it has the stability of an indoor grow. and the support for the plants of an outdoor grow. I've always grown outdoors, cause i don't like restrictions on my plants. If it were legal here i would set one up in a heartbeat. I'd probably have to purchase a plot of land though. the only difference is the amount of times between harvest to sowing. good for you man.

  19. $30 a gram? ...

    ..........
I dont do drugs, i smoke weed.
