  1. Philips and illumitex LEDs. Horticultural.

Anybody have 1st person experience using either to grow cannabis. They market directly to the vertical food farming market.

  2. really hoping some one does. what system are you growing in? did you ever get feed back about glomus?

  3. Glomus is new to me; will research it. Overall, I'm disappointed that our community only has experience with LEDs that market on Social Media. The ones researched by Cornell, Purdue and the International Space Station & NASA draw a big zero with the limited exception of $32 research papers by botanical departments and nutraceutical companies that are beyond my capacity to fully digest.

Any Ph.D. folks in botany willing to trade out an analysis if I buy the paper?

  4. :bongin: just thinking (normally a very bad idea). I have spent so much time and money trying to find the best performing systems and lights and etc... I am new here but it seems like we have all the resources on this forum to figure this out. if we could get two trusted growers here to run a side by side to come up with a control. maybe add some growers then to get accurate results. then keep the winner every time. I work in horticulture for me a tread like this would be the Entertainment and Grass Programming Network or EGPN. I would bet on this; I might even give odds. My wife just told me I have smoked myself retarded.

  5. Brada, great idea!  One problem needs to be worked out.  The confounding variable in this experiment is the quality & experience of the growers.  All other things being equal, the superior grower will end up with the superior harvest.  In this sense It's not unlike poker.

    Thoughts?

  6. larger numbers. two grows before a decision. man one major flaw is the fact of genetics. if we could get everyone growing the same genetics and an agree upon nutrient regiment and environment.... its doable. what lights do you have? maybe i will start a thread see if anyone comes along. I have already done a few side by sides myself. I could list the lights i have and see if anyone has a match to start us off. this could be fun. this could cost a lot of hours i should be working LOL. i gotta go cook my daughter a late dinner check out my gallery i have a photo with my lights see if you have a match.

  7. Brain lock. Glomus being the high-Brix micorrhizal rootzone inoculant? Intraradices is most frequently used species in cannabis. What the heck did I ask? How embarrassing!

  8. I first bumped into you on Microbemans thread. you asked about them. I went back over my notes for my last grow; did not like the quality as my other previous times with the phenotype i had and Glomus is missing from my last grow. I made sure they are back in. your post made me run that rabbit hole so thanks for asking the question.

  9. You are welcome!  Hey, I found my memory, so I have that going for me which is nice.

  10. LOL! Not me still looking when i remember!?? My favorite light company came out with a new light!! I am stoked bra! I may have to run my own comparison on this one first. It is made up of all Cree and Osram.
