I just bought my first stone pipes after being sick of breaking glass pipes and hating the harsh taste of metal pipes, and I must say I LOVE it, it has the smoothness of smoking out of glass (aside from using metal pipe screens to prevent ash from being drawn into my mouth), and it has the durability of a metal pipe. I'd highly (pun intended) recommend a stone pipe to any smokers.

Yea ive got a really nice stone bowl its made of some kind of white quartz and is unbreakable and is kinda clear it looks like it has a vein of resin running through it when it gets dirty. Only problem is its small so its really harsh.
At a LHS in my area they use to have a stone pipe and the bowl was lined with 22K gold lol another one was platinum lined haha they looked sweet! But I wasn't willing to spend 200-300 for just a pipe lol.
My friend bought one. We called it BamBam. BamBam sucked so much ass. One of the worst pieces we had ever used. BamBam ended up in the bottom of a lake. Rest in piece, BamBam.
Ive thought about buying one if I came across one I really liked. How badly do they heat up because that is the main reason I don't enjoy metal pieces.
