Hey everyone I never see any Wii U related threads that often so I figured I should make my own. Recently, I have been playing Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze, Mario Kart 8, and Super Mario 3D world... I think DK:Trop Freeze is the best game made for the system yet.. not to mention all of the new games coming toward the end of 2014 and 2015 How about you guys? The question is in the title

Oh I was like whats this dudes problem haha. I remember I played it on gamecube but that's it. I never owned a N64 and the Gamecube is what actually got me into gaming
Well, let me start by saying holy fuck, you need to play Ocarina of Time. Once that is complete, yes, Wind Waker is amazing. The soundtrack wont be as nostalgic for you, but I can't get over how nostalgic it is. (reminds me soo much of OoT). Honestly, if I were you, I'd buy Ocarina of TIme on the Wii VC, then play WInd Waker after. Just because OoT is older and harder to get into after playing newer games (I assume).
Mario Kart 8. I haven't even touched any of my other games in the last month. I really need to play that WWHD remake before school starts. Which free game did you guys pick? I got Pikmin because I foolishly bought WWHD with MK8 not knowing I could have gotten it for free. lol
I got Pikmin 3 downloading as we speak, actually just picked up a Wii U. I was so addicted to Mario Kart 8. I had one sit down with it and I already got all the gold trophies except for one on 150cc. Those A.I are brutal in this one, had to do most of the cups over cause I got my ass handed to me. One of the most fun gaming experiences I've had in quite some time tho. I think Nintendo might of finally topped Mario Kart Double Dash. I was playing Super Mario before this and yeah the game really isn't that great. I just think Mario 2D platformers have been edged out by Rayman and Little Big Planet. Super Mario just does nothing new, besides having some fresh paint slapped on it.
It's a fun game I've only played an hour of it but I like it. Definitely has a good storyline. I recommend rayman legends over it though.
Update: Super Mario Bros U is actually pretty fun. DK tropical freeze is also really fun up until world 3.
it's definitely challenging(Mario bro's) and mk8 is a blast. never had much interest in Zelda but maybe I'll buy it.
