Where Can I Learn More About Water Cooled Lighting

  1. I am going from a state legal greenhouse grow to a stealth grow in a state where I will not have a medical card. I am going to build a couple of large grow dressers. I was debating going with California Lightworks Solar Storm but I don't think that will yield enough for my family and I. I am thinking to get the kind of yield we need out of 4 plants I will need to go with a water cooled 1000 watt HPS. I think it might be possible to get close to a pound out of 4 plants and a 1000 watt HPS. I use CFL lighting to supplement daylight in my greenhouse to keep plants in veg cycle but I have never used them as the primary source of light so this is all very new to me. Where can I learn how to set up the water cooled light system? I need to know how many gallons I will need to keep a 1000 watt bulb cool, how to calculate the size of a water pump I will need and general information about the water cooled lighting. I have watched Youtube videos and read the literature that Fresca Sol has available online but I am still a bit lost on how to get it all set up.

  2. Any reason why you are going water cooled instead of air cooled? Something doesn't sit right about me with using water to cool a light. I know they use water cooling on computers, but I mean thats a much smaller amount of water to have leak.

Either way, I'd like to see what you can find. Water cooled things interest me :D

  3. We have developed 1000w water cooled dimmable LED grow light, too heavy, around 35kg
