If you absolutely must clone an auto you should do it when it is younger...air layering would seem to be the most pratical way to clone an auto...You still won't have a clone that outlives it's mother...just two different sized plants with likely less yield than one unfuckedwith plant.

If you clone an auto, a strain that takes longer to finish might do better than say a 60 day strain.

  2. It's really not a bad idea to try anything if you don't have alot to loose...playing with stuff is a good way to learn...maybe even improve a grow method....but keep in mind...an auto germinates and the clock starts ticking and when the time is up...thats it...everything dies...mother...clones...everything...so the only way to carry on the genetics of the plant is to pollinate it and make seeds.

  4. The reality of cloning autos is that being they are on a genetic timeline for flowing, the clone will remain on the same timeline as the mother.

Therefore there will be no time for the clone to veg, and you will have a very small yield.

  5. Gentlemen I agree, I turned a small clone in 5 weeks to be able to offer feminized pollen to the remaining female, we were then able to grow out feminized seeds, about 87 actually, but after that we had to let her go, the feminized plant was only about the size of you palm, the term is ... "for shits and giggles?"
