love them dogs, Grew up with them. only thing that sucks is they are short lived. 7 years. even though both of mine made it to 7 or a little past, never had a dog as good as a golden. I would look to see if i can find a Mix golden that can live a little longer. i probably drop money right now on that. Tired of these yippy dogs who shit and piss everywhere and evertime you set something down or drop something, Open a closet door they go off like some one they never seen before is walking into the house.
Mines still going strong at 11 years. He's got some medical issues but I still see so much life in him. They are especially prone to hip problems and lymphoma though which is probably why a lot of them don't see it to their teens.
