So I just wanted to start this off by saying that I hope you guys had a good day (or a good night depending on where you live) mine was not so good but oh well, I just need to vent.

So my best friend (who is 21) and I are going to my lake house with a couple friends tomorrow. My best friend was going to go buy beer but our roommate had a friend over who said he would go for us because he was already going to go pick some up anyways. So my best friend gave him $60 (a bit too much for three 24 packs of beer I do admit, I don't know what was going on there) and he left. He comes back about 20 minutes later with the wrong type of beer and none of our change.

So basically this guy just fucked us over with cheap beer and now has probably around $30 of mine and my best friend's money. We were kind of upset but hey no use being mad over something that someone else did, right?

Also, about half an hour after that we decided to go to McDonald's. We get there and I park, and somehow my dumb ass forgets that hey we're on a curb we can't go forward to leave the parking lot. Well I did, and now the plastic thing that protects my engine is torn in half. But I'm gonna fix that tomorrow.

TL;DR - Gave sketchy guy money for beer, sketchy guy lived up to his sketchiness and I kinda broke a part on my car.

How are you guys doing tonight?  :smoke:

*EDIT I just realized that this doesn't make much sense. Our roommate answered the door when he came back with the beer and he kind of just dropped it off and left. Just wanted to clarify that

  2. Sure, sure...Alright, guy screwed you over, got that mess.

But what about the car, man?!  What's the damage on that, eh?

  3.
Car is fine! I just need to get the splash guard (I believe that's what it is?) fixed or replaced. Gonna go check that out tomorrow.

  4.
    Thank fuck...I was concerned.

  5.
Yeah so was I! I drove home with it just dragging on the ground and my best friend looks at me and goes, "That doesn't sound good. Maybe you should check it out." Good thing I did check it out because I'm doing a long ass drive tomorrow! Haha

  6. Beer for a good time? no thanks lol. Pretty bad decision to let someone you don't know take $60. And not even going to ask him what the fuck he was thinking by ripping you off. And going over a curb, really haha that's just a silly mistake. What a bad day.

  7.
Haha yeah it was a pretty bad decision but hey you live and you learn.

Look at the bright side At least the dude didn't run away with your whole $60. At least you got some beer in the end.

That's what I kept telling myself and my best friend, which is also why I'm not too upset over it!

  10. Ugh I'm kinda done with beer for a bit. Had too many last night

Man hell no you should have called him out on it I bet he would have coughed up something.

I know it just 30 worth of beer, but what the fuck makes him think he can just cop your money like that. That is pure stealing I would have been extra pissed cause the dude did it so sneaky like.

  12. If dude dropped off three cases of Natty or Busch, you definitely gotta ripped off. Regardless at least he didn't take your money and just leave...

You really think some random guy wouldn't take some money as compensation for what he is doing? I mean truthfully if I was going to get you beer, I'd expect some payment as well...

Honestly, if he had just asked for some extra cash I would have given him some of it. The fact that he kinda just took it is what kinda threw me off.

  14. Man you Americans and your liquor prices lol. Up here in Canada a single 24 pack of Busch(the cheapest I can find up here) is like 25-30  bucks...

  15. No Dude he offered to go get it BECAUSE he was already going to get some. I dont see where he went out of his way to get anything and if dude bought you natty's that just foul. Could have atleast got something decent like Budweiser.

  16. But im sure he was just trying to see if he could get afew extra bucks.

  17. I don't know how to quote on mobile and I'm getting my car fixed at the moment but he brought back Bud Light and Coors Light haha

  19. Bro a 24 pack of Budlight is around 16-18$ add the tax and deposits and he maybe pocketed 5$ if that.

  20. Yeah I honestly don't think he ripped you off that bad unless you only got 2 cases instead of the 3 you wanted.
