  2. Awesome!! Keep in mind stem placement as there is a lot of volume in the bottle. You don't want so much smoke you blow a lung out! LOL! :bongin: Peace!!!

  3. Diamond drills bits and a dremel.

    Not much to it.

  4. you could make a bowl at the top. and put ice in the hole with the cork to cool the water and smoke. my friend had this exact same thing that he turned into a bong. worked great just need to find the right pieces to work. GOOD LUCK!

  5. What was in the bottle before? That's a strange looking bottle. It has some kind of huge bowl on the side and then a pour spout on the other side? Cant you just use a quart sized JD bottle?

  6. or you could go get a bong made out of borosilicate glass.  That's most likely soda-lime glass as are pretty much all glass bottles unless they say pyrex on it.  Issue with soda lime glass is the fragility of it.  Borosilicate was created because people needed glass that was more resistant to thermal expansion.  At a given temp, borosilicate won't expand or contract as much as soda lime glass and therefore is much less likely to crack from temperature stress.

Vases and vessels like that also don't have the wall thickness that a bong would have.  In general a decent glass piece will be at least 5mm thick, that vase is probably more like 2-3mm.  It's cool to make little smoking contraptions and all, but if you want a piece that hits well and will last decades go get something properly blown and annealed and made of boro.

  7.  yes! esoecially considering my bf has only one fully developed lung! can you give anymore information on where EXACTLY to place the stem? step by step?

  8. WOULD LOVE TOO! 2 problems. 1. cant afford it right now i dont think. my bf wants rasta colours, his name, and a potleaf somewhere in said bong. thats why i was thinking glass paint. my mom can do stained glass pot leaf and saulder to the outside. i have to be resourceful here as i promised him a boing made to his specifications and cant break that but also dont have tons of money. HELP!!!!!!!!!!

  9.  more information please. what exactly do you mean by the right pieces and where exactly should i be drilling the hole?

  10.
um no! has to be or at least look legit and not homemade. plz dont ask why its a very long story.

  11. use a diamond tipped drill bit with a variable speed drill. Find a fairly long stem as you should make the hole somewhat above the halfway point of the rounded part. Drill slowly!!! Once you get a spot started the going will be easier. Fit the hole with a rubber grommet, the stem and a sweet bowl and enjoy!! Hope it turns out well! peace! :bongin: (you only want the stem to go about 1/2 way down into the rounded part. The more water to take up the space, the less volume of smoke. You only need a couple inches of water over the bottom of the stem.)
