Hello old friends and new friends. Hip replacement last month got me on late start. But I did get all set up this yesterday. Growing 10 White Rhino and two Sour Diesels. 3 WR in the ground with all natural soil and perlite. First time using the smart pots. I trying out the 15g ones. Also making a grow room under my patio. I plan to finish the smart pots indoors this year. Bud loss from mold to PM and bud worms is forcing me to try something new. Also going to build bug netting of some sort. If I cant finish this year I am going all indoor. Questions? Do smart pots seem to bud a little earlier like normal plastic pots? Root bound? As always some pics.
Subbed, Im in Washington and love growing white Rhino. You on the west side? Because mold is less an issue on the hot as hell east side.
East side. Last two years lost over half my bud and harvest early so loss another 1/4 or more. Not worth having back yard full of buds and cant finish right. I getting to the point to even have a chance it carport with plastic top. and bug netting around the side to even have a chance. Then deal with just bud rot and PM. The pots have fox farms ocean soil with 20% perlite mixed in. Here are some shots from same time last year. And how they finished. Late start but thinking I can do well. Shame about the bud rot, I did not do a big grow just a few big plants and was concerned about the rain last year. Hope this year is better for you. I have a harvest in a few weeks of white rhinos. Mine are in a swimming pool and most are over 4 foot. My bigger plants are over 5 and a half foot. Its a hot one today, Iv watered twice and we could see 105F in the next day or two. Water em deep.

The Mendo Purps beat them all by weeks. Early October for sure. The PK I grew last year was not the same PK that finished early Oct two year ago. So PK and the purps has been the fastest I have grown.
Been a whil 5150, how the hell are you? Hip replacement huh ?? Man that's rough. Plants are doing just fine and in my opinion, plants do start to flower a lil earlier in smart pots.
Im glad the surgery went well for you. A late start grow is better than no grow! I dialed it down a lot this season too. We will still get some quality buds.
Time for the week update. Going good as can be expected. Will give first feeding this week. also a shot of the room I am building. Going to bring 6 or so plants indoor to finish this year. Room is 16x7 built under my patio. Pretty cheap for already had roof and concrete floor. Double in size in 6 days compared to first pic above. Liking that. Look healthy as can be. some pics.
Question????? Anyone know of any threads or growers that finishe the plants indoor? So outdoor/indoor grows? Trying some different stuff this year. Thanks
UT should be too much different than flowering like normally indoors. Your just vegging and starting flowering outdoors. Just run lights at 12/12. Use a magnifying loop to see when they are finished.
Man 5150, you are rockin the house. Love the grow room, it looks nice and roomy. Hip replacement? I know more than a handful of people that have had them, all successful...and they say it gave their life back to them. Just take it easy for a while and you'll 100% soon. Now about that White Rhino strain...I grew it a few years back in a 10 gallon smart pot (Greenhouse Seed Co) and it is a wonderul plant with colas the size of baseball bats. I say if you mess with the Rhino, you will get the horn. I have some trimmed cola shots out their some where, if I find it I'll post it here for ya. Found it! Click here.
