Incredibly Slow Growth

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by Dr.GreenTeam, Jul 5, 2014.

  1. This problem pertains to all the four plants.

    Fem+auto Quick one - 11 days
    Fem+auto Roadrunner - 10 days
Regular Skunk haze - 7 days
    Regular unknown - 18 hours

    Setup:
T5 2x6 lamp, 5 inches away for seedlings
    One has 65w 6500k cfl.
110cfm exhaust fan with passive intake. Room is 36sq ft.
Temp ranges from low 70s to low to mid 80s.
Humidifier running (just setup today). Humidity used to be 16-25 before humidifier, is at 40 after 30 minutes of running.

Any idea what could be causing the slow growth?

    1 is quick one
    2 is skunk
    3 is Roadrunner
    4 is unknown

  3. I don't see anything of concern?

  4. Is this normal after nearly two weeks?
    Maybe I'm just too anxious

  5. If you want faster growth go to bigger grow lights.

They are not bad for 2 weeks, that is an age where they are busy getting some roots under them before they can get some growth rate up top going.

  6. pH of soil?

  7. In the future I'm moving to HID lights but for this one I have:
    4x42w cfl 2700k
    3x65w cfl 6500k
    T5 144w 6500k plus 6 2700k bulbs.
The odd this was that the seedlings were under all the bulbs until two days ago. I put them under the t5 alone and it seems to be making them grow faster . Thanks for the reply's guys.

Should have been bigger (most likely?), so don't over-water and please don't start blasting with nutes. Allow the substrate to begin to dry.

  9. I don't see a speck of perlite in your mix. Your mix looks like peat and dirt.

  10. Made the slight mistake of using miracle grow organic..

The second roadrunner just went into soil with a mix of miracle grow, perlite, and vermiculite.

  11. This is the mix with the new roadrunner.

I took the MG organic choice and add 10% perlite, a little bone meal, blood meal and epson salts and did real good.

Its OK soil if its worked over a touch.

Might just have to do that when the two in small pots are transplanted to 8 or 10 inch pots.

I heard fox farm ocean forest (something similar to that name) was one of the best?
