4X4 Led Wild Thai Seed, Second Grow

  1. The SS1040 is 1040 true watts vs the Mars 1200 is 545-600 true watts. Need to throw in another Mars II to make it fair lol

  2. I'm rocking the 1200 & 900 together. Pretty damn bright. I haven't tried them super close together yet. About 12" apart is where I had them hanging side by side before I went down to one plant, now the 900w is side lighting lol. My eyes hurt.

  3. I'm very sure I've reached my weight limit :( Hanging those UFO's (10lbs ea) and the Mars II 1200w all on one side of the tent. The 900w is resting on the box and kept in place by hangers. Wasn't going to dangle that light.

  4. Hmmm 1040+550+425w... That's pushing my circuit without my 8" and 6" fan (I think the 6" is about to become a spare...

On a side note I'm having the 3 AC units serviced tomorrow. Spent a few hours cleaning my grow room, putting everything away, nothing grow related visa le other than the two tents. I have enough weird, scary looking work equipment around the room I can have them think the tents are just work related.

My led light hood heat extraction vent-O-matic is working good, but it leaves me with no carbon filter. Last few days I couldn't figure out where the strong weed smell was coming from. It's my vegging girls and one tiny auto! I put the 6" exhaust duct inside an 8" intake to my flower tent and turned the flower fan on low. Silent and cleaned the funk... So I have a battle plan for a few hours while workers are here.

  8. Your WW looks so much nicer than mine. Yours actually looks like a bush, mine grew straight out not up. It was a weird little dwarf that gave lots of small buds. They are definitely potent just small.

Thanks WD. AC units get serviced this morning, Trip to Vietnam Friday for visa run/holiday/ meet up with Victor. Come back Sunday and start prepping for next grow.

I'm thinking of buying a couple 2X4 (or whatever is comparable here) make a simple X brace on top of my small tent and poke a hole through my tent ceiling to have lights supported by the wood...

    Hey Macgyver!

Instead of putting holes in the tent what if you used some of these:

You could put one inside the tent one outside (stick them together). Put a hook in the ceiling and run a chain or rope ratchet to it..) Only thing  is that it might cut through the fabric of the tent. I have these at work and when you stick them together it takes a lot of effort to pull them apart! Just a thought ...

Not if you fill it on the way out, they must have some kind of water plug style concrete patch stuff there. Mix up a tiny amount stick it in hole and just walk away. Long as you don't smear it around it would be great. The hammer drill noise to make the hole however May set off a few bells and whistles.

  12. Excellent thread, subscribed!
My regional manager wanted to move me over to Japan for some overseas work. Don't think I can do anything at all, the envy is leaking through my skin!

  13. Update on the magnetic hooks ... I stuck a couple together and it was pretty tough to get a part. The only issue I found was on what pole side was actually facing out... If they were the same you couldn't stick them together... Yep I found one of those clip on oscillating fans also.  It is nice and small and provides good air movement. Trying to figure out a pole adapter  so I can use it on a vertical pole. It tends to slide down when I try and attach it on one of those.
