Hi I have started to grow somas sogouda as I have hear it's an amazing strain. Currently 2 weeks in and hasn't made any progress since week 1 the leaves are starting to turn yellow I am using 6 20 watt cfls and a overhanging fluoride lamp 2X4 for 5 plants, watering every 2 days. The older leaves have become alarmingly yellow recently I thought it might be a nitrogen deficiency but it could also be that i use some nutrients to early? I am quite unsure and would really appreciate any ideas!

^ Agree. Overwatering (or more accurately, lack of oxygen to the rootzone) causes N lockout, which is probably what's going on here, leading noobs to think their 2-week old plant needs to be fed, leading to even more problems. Seriously, I've never had a reason to water every 2 days when they're that small. Sooo just by not watering the problem should resolve itself? and if it doesn't and the leaves stay yellow or the plant shows signs of dehydration and i have to water and then the leaves stay yellow what then? sorry to be such a fucking noob just don't want my little ones to die

Hello mate, should I cut the leaves that got burned do to to much pot ash. There driving me nuts there not thinking up or anything. I think I might add 400watt cool tube at same time as the mars 11 700. Could I get some feed back on this. I'm going to try to send pictures I have them in tub now just gave them a rinse
