I can't afford to pay for weed anymore. I am tired of having to donate plasma to pay for the medicine I need after recovering from a stroke. It is going to be my goal to use what I have to produce at least a half ounce of dank bud per week on a regular basis. Do to state law I will need to keep my plants to 4 or less. (or get them down to four as soon as possible). This is my third grow and I have yet to produce any smokable bud. I am hoping to use a PC, a small dresser 3 cubic feet (this is what I am currently using) and a medium-size (8.45 cubic feet ) cabinet to accomplish this. It is my hope that I can kind of show everyone what I am working with and hopefully get the best advice to get the job done. I will try to post as many pictures and as much information as I can. Peace:)

For my soil I have used one third Peatmoss, one third compost, one third natives soil. The largest plant is from a seed out of some granddaddy purp, it is a female, I flowered it for one week and then changed my mind and put it back into the vegetative state. Today is the eighth day back on veg. This seed was planted around St. Patrick's Day approximately 3 1/2 months ago. The largest seedling is 10 days old it was out of a bag of sour diesel. The two smaller ones are an unknown strain of dirt weed. Any advice, especially budget friendly would be much appreciated. Peace

By the way the dirt weed germinated yesterday

  3. I was wondering if anyone thought I would be better off with scrapping the seedlings and just trying to utilize clones. I'm pretty green so I'm not quite sure what the best way to go about this. Peace

  4. I am using 4 26 W CFL's 6500 K on 18/6 until a couple days ago I was using 5000 K because that's all I could find. I should also mention that the plant spent its first three months on 16/8 because I suck at math. I didn't notice until I went to go switch it to flower. The plant was awful at first all of the bottom leaves turn yellow and died until I added some miracle grow that I found underneath my sink at 40 drops per one half gallon. I had moisture problems and got powdery mildew and soaked it down with the fungicide. I have recently reduced my miracle grow to 10 drops per one half gallon because everyone has me freaking out I'm using the MG LOL. Okay so I cut three clones out the granddaddy lets see if any of them take. I may give it two weeks or so then thin heard back down to four plants. This is my first attempt at cloning a cannabis plants and I did not have any root hormone nor could I afford it so I thought I would take a chance. ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1404189154.737162.jpg now we have a 3 1/2 month old granddaddy a week and a half old sour diesel to one day old mystery strains and three fresh baby clones. ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1404189331.837471.jpg So far the sour diesel seems to be the most robust seed I have germinated to date. ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1404189363.934792.jpg I also need to do something about my light leaks before my in-laws get here from out of town tomorrow LOL

Butchie[/quote I love your thread and I can relate to your reason of growing. My broke ass is growing a clone on its second week :) ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1404190151.254379.jpg

  10. Okay, one of the clones look like it was still alive the other two look like they may be dead because the leaves were touching the soil so I dug out the soil to keep the leaves from touching it hopefully that will help this down that is only planted maybe a half inch to three quarters of an inch deep that's all the bigger the clones were. Someone on another thread told me to LITFA, this is becoming increasingly difficult for me:) I also did my clones rate before I shut my light off last night I don't know if that made the difference or not. Don't have a humidity chamber or starter cubes or root hormone or anything like that so maybe if I get one out of three that survives that's okay I guess…

  13. Oh my, they look nutrient deprived. What kind of soil did you use mate?

    "I don't always contradict myself. But when I do, I don't"

  14. One third peat Moss, one third native soil, one third early compost. I think the mother had a severe nitrogen deficiency in the beginning. Trying to hang on :)

  16. Last night I watered the granddaddy and the sour diesel real good and put a few drops of water in each one of the clones and I added a few more drops of water to the clones this morning. I used the miracle grow at 25% strength. I would really like to change nutrients but for now that's all I have and I don't have any money to get anything else. The sour diesel already smells way more dank then the granddaddy and I had the granddaddy in flower for one week. I really wish I knew if the sour diesel was a male or female. If it's a female I will probably clone it and if it's a male I will probably try to save the pollen I don't think I would have the heart to throw it away. Where I live it is been very difficult to find good weed, up until the past year or so maybe.. I have smoked almost exclusively brick weed a.k.a. Mexican butt wipe for the past 25 years. So I guess the names of the strains are more hearsay than anything else and they just happened to be seeds I found in the bag. I really do hope that I can make this grow work because as of now, I have 1/2 joint, a few stems and a resin bowl that's the only weed I have left besides what I'm growing ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1404312703.343178.jpg plus I'm out of cash LOL
What a sad day in Butchie Land…

  17. Well, the half a joint is gone down to the dirty bowl and stems I guess :)

No need to fear things are looking up my sister-in-law called me to have a look at this plant in their yard. Score! I can't tell the sex yet but I did take a cutting just in case. If you can tell the sex by these fuzzy pictures let me know that would be great!!
