I bought these Fertilizers just recently, its pellets not sure how to use them since the instructions said I should place them 3 inched below the the surface then water? anyway, its 14-14-14. Is it mild enough for 2-3 week old seedlings? will it speed up the vegging? I also have a 30-10-10 powder. Have not yet tried it, I am thinking its still little bit too soon.

Ive also attached pictures of the plants as well. They are in a 24/7 light schedule. Misting 3-7 times a day. Its pretty hot in the box though, water spots evaporate in mere minutes. Are my plants looking heat stressed as well?

my ventilation is pretty bad but I open the grow box door every couple of hours or so. There is a fan inside blowing but the hot hair just usually circles around inside. I will be putting exhaust fans soon but for now this is the best I can do.

There is also a bowl of water inside to catch bugs and shit. Strangely, when i touch the water its actually cold. But the air in the box is pretty warm...kinda like afternoon sun around 2-4pm? something like that without clouds and stuff.

    Thank you.

  2. Good morning Master, your babies look very good.

I'm not familiar with the fertilizer your using but the 14-14-14 is for Nitrogen, phos and potash. It's a bit hot for the babies, granular also means it's probably time release. Again probably not the best for babies. I wish I could be more helpful with the nutes but they're a product I've never seen used.

Water will suffice for awhile until they get a little bigger, maybe you have a grow store around?

You're on the right track though.

  3. Get a liquid.

I can tell you they will grow best without any food at this point, all you will do is stunt the plants.

Never over water. Use a shot glass to water with right now.

Open the damn box, they will need fresh air, plan on ditching the box. Fucking noobs always thinking they need a box, oh brother.

If I open the box at night all hell will come crashing in am talking about INSECT CONVENTION. I can't count on the environment here to produce ample light not to mention its rainy every other 2 days.

So you are advising I should NOT use this fertilizer?

hey harleygrower61, Your comment is much appreciated since this is actually my 3rd time trying to get past the 3rd week. Ive tried outdoors and did not just cut it. So far, this box has produced the most potential for my plants and its a very good feeling to know that I am on the right track

Im pretty sure you have not encountered this nute since its only available here in the Philippines. Climates here are very unpredictable and lately its been a bitch. And there are no grow stores here what so ever  :confused_2:  there isn't even a decent garden store that sells nutes/ferts.

I have the same brand for my 30-10-10, should I use that instead? How many more weeks should I wait till I can use the ferts?

BTW I curious about the watering, Should I only water around the plant like its its radius since its still very small? Or should I soak the whole pot until water comes out at the bottom? or Water it from below? I only water 3-4 times a day but a mist it zealously.

  5. Wow the PI, you are growing in a battleground. Been there, I remember the rainy seasons....holy shit.

Keep the babies on just water as snoop said. For now.

Let's try to make a compost tea. Look up compost teas on line and see if you can find the ingredients in the PI. Maybe we can work you a new line with teas until you can hook up with a real nute line.

Good idea on the Tea. Ill get into research right away for the ingredients!  So should I discard these nutes that ive bought?

  7. No keep them, we (you) may be able to add the later as a beneficial.

  8. Thanks a million for the info and help bud, ill keep you posted!

    UPDATE***

I found some worm castings, vermicompost and other compost stuff lately, Purchased worms castings first and applied on top soil of my plants. Here is a pic, Is it look healthy? my other two seem to have stopped growth. they just stayed that way for two weeks already.

On the tea, Can I use worm castings for tea? Like let them stay mixed with water for a week then start spraying? or should should I directly apply to soil? Its the only ones available in terms of ingredients. Sea weed also, if im lucky to find another pack in my local hardware store but that is pretty much it.
