Have You Bought Really Good Brick Weed

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by GrandpaJonRedSox, Jun 29, 2014.

  1. Brick weed usually does not taste too good and has too many seeds but for a while in college back in the mid 1990's I was getting really good brick weed that was almost seedless. It was super green and tasty and it was so compressed it was almost hash like. And it was only costing me $220 for a QP. Most of brick stuff I got was not the best weed. It would get you high but it did not taste great, just ok. Luckily I haven't had to buy brink stuff in over a decade.

  2. Got some dank weed that was in a brick once

It has been 15 years for sure.

  4. Yeah once in a while those Mexican drug cartels grow some fine weed and brick it up.

  5. Funny you ask this, my buddy pays $6 a gram for some damn good brick dank

  6. "Really good brick weed" is an oxymoron. I don't know where I'd purchase one of those.

  7.
Mid 90's I was getting some good green bricks, few seeds, sweet flavor and very stoney. $500 a pound or $1000 a kilo.
Made a fortune on that shit.

You would need a time machine.

  8. I was paying like $2 a gram for dank brick back in the mid 90's, and I was in college working as a manager at McDonald's back then so money was tight. I couldn't afford anything better in those days.

Any weed can be vacuum sealed into a brick form  ;)

  10. Yep. Good luck finding brick for those low prices these days, let alone dank brick. I never even hear of people selling brick weed these days. It is pretty much a thing of the past I think.

  11. It's pretty cool being able to see the differential in awareness based on age of the tokers. Hearing about everything from prices to lax laws in the past on here always make me insanely jealous in some ways, and extremely grateful for the present in others- primarily the quality and selection of weed we have now as a tradeoff for steeper prices.

Well yeah but what does brick cost now if you can get it? I imagine if you can find Mexican brick weed in Iowa these days it would be maybe $100 an Oz. Minimum wage back then was like $5 an hour back then what is it now $10 an hour I think? The dollar is worth far less now that is the reason weed costs so much more I think. I think weed is even more available now than it ever was before but yeah no one cared about weed in the 90's.

  13.
Its legal where I live and my grow is legal. I harvested this morning a good pound of  hydro Bubblicious.

There's still a lot of brick weed around central Florida....

Forgot to say.....it's cheap, and stony....

  16. What does it go for these days for a quarter pound or a pound? $400 a quarter pound or so is my guess....

  17. Those are some beautiful buds. I love Bubblicious. I am planning on growing some in the near future.

Can only say that the last ounces I saw were $90....about a month ago...dark in color, with a seed or two, but def get you buzzed....

  19. Dat Harry Potter collection. Respec.

  20. $90 an Oz so it is probably around $320 for a quarter pound would be my guess. So it hasn't really gotten too expensive. I know a guy back in Iowa that is always looking for cheap brick but all that can be found these days is outdoor nug. The outdoor nug in Iowa is cheap and pretty damn good shit. You could get a quarter pound of outdoor nug for around $600 back in 2010 when I moved here from Iowa.
