  2. you are safe. kind of ridiculous to ship dirt.

  3. dude i don't have any fuckin grow shops in my state and my state hates weed really bad..so no its not stupid to ship dirt to your house if you live in a non-marijuana state

  4. Try your local Wal-mart. My plants like there chicken shit just as good as the stuff at the "grow shop". Lots of places sell soil and it doesn't need to be marketed specifically towards Cannabis to work. It's a much cheaper option to go pick it up your self then to pay out the ass for overpriced soil online then have some ridiculous shipping charges to boot.

  5. Getting soil shipped can look suspicious, especially if you don't have a garden. Some suppliers will wrap everything in black pallet wrap for discretion. I have to be careful even though I buy the soil locally. I mean why would a guy be bringing bags of soil into a 2 bed 2nd floor apartment? I always have mine put into black refuse sacks and only bring it in late at night when no one's around...!

  6. I'm more paranoid about seed orders to my home address. A grower friend told me that us customs has been bearing down on intercepting seed orders. Just the kind of info/rumor to make noob grower reluctant to hit the "Submit Order" button! Any advice about how safe ordering from UK or Amsterdam really is? And what about delivery thru the mail to home address? Don't have a stealthy address set up anywhere so how big a gamble is it?

  7. ordered 5-6 times to my grow address and never had an issue.

  8. Dam dude! That makes me feel a little better. Seriously!

I placed my order yesterday and it will be stealthier than most so I'm hoping they arrive and I don't start to think some state cop is gonna knock on my door a week or two after I get them going.   I wouldn't even care about getting busted or going to jail but I would miss my two dogs too bad and they would miss me. Dumb I know - but fuck it

  9. Yea man I always use the most stealthy way as well. Should be fine bro

  10. gorilla seeds are quite stealthy

  11. It is ridiculous, fer sure. Except for the fact that I've had such great success with Happy Frog or Ocean Forrest soils that it's worth it to me to use them and pay shipping (along with about 30% Pearlite) and thus avoid having to contend with several potential nute-pH-soil. issues. Using them along with pH'd distilled water (plus a couple mLs/gal of weed-friendly nutes every 2 or 3 waterings).

Having had positive results from using these soils - and no negatives ones other than cost - and given the cost (and paranoia) of overseas seed purchases, I'm just not adventurous enough to start experimenting with generic Lowes - Home Depot type potting soils.

  12. So is Seedsman. Plus, they threw in 5 free seeds of some similar strains to my order of 6 making 11 seeds for the price of 6. You can choose the stealthiness and what cover product the seeds come hidden in. Extra stealth costs more.

  13. how stealthy is 'stealth'?  I mean, are they so hard to find even you can't find them?  Had an order intercepted and they were pretty easy to find in there!   just trying to figure out how to get them shipped where they just can't be found unless a person *knows* what they are looking for in a package.

  14. Yea I order from THS (the hyrdro store) and legit their shipping label just says THS and a plain jane brown box... no idea how ppl would know i was ordeing Fox Farm nutes... So if your worried about a tip off I'd order from them.

  15. There's nothing illegal about dirt... Not really sure how bad the US is getting but in Canada I've ordered tons of grow supplies and seeds from various suppliers and never once had an issue.

  16. Even in non friendly marijuana states you should be able to get dirt at a local plant or garden nursery or Lowes and Home Depot. My state is one of the worst with pot laws and I order all my equipment no problem just dirt I buy at Lowes . Seeds I also get shipped from the UK and they have the option for stealth shipping and remove the seeds from breeder packs and I never do any of that and get my seeds everytime.

  17. Personally, I would buy it from a store, just because it's quicker and I don't need to pay for shipping (Although I have Amazon Prime so yay). Don't worry about ordering supplies. There's more to growing than just growing cannabis. Superthrive is used on many different plants, not just cannabis. Personally I've used it on various plants like neglected umbrella plants, spider plants, mother of thousands, etc.

Now if you're just some dude in an apartment building ordering soil, I would be cautious, buy from a brick and mortar store (A physical store, not the internet) and transport indoors at night when it's safe to do so. Although the chances of getting busted because you're buying soil is extremely slim. That's not enough for police to get a search warrant. Many people grow "normal" plants indoors, like tomatoes and such. Hell, I grow a multitude of different plants indoors.

If you're ordering soil and it's shipped through a standard courier like UPS or Fedex, it will be in a box as per courier policy. It's possible the box will have the product name printed right on it, but I still wouldn't really worry much. Your average person isn't going to know what Fox Farm Ocean Forest is, nor assume it's for cannabis.

Now ordering seeds is a whole 'nother ball game. You should never have them shipped to the same address that they will be grown in. Just for that slight chance it could be intercepted by U.S. Customs and you wind up on some secret list. Although intercepted cannabis seeds is unlikely to actually get you busted (They would need to prove you actually personally ordered them), it's a risk I wouldn't be willing to take.

Simply: If you own your own house, don't be worried about ordering supplies. If you live in an apartment, I'd be cautious just because of nosy neighbors.

  18. I just received my grow equipment from Amazon. Everything came in a discreet brown box. Have Amazon prime. No one knows what you ordered. It is too much work to cross reference all the shipping and credit cards receipts. Just relax and click buy

  19. Most of the suppliers go to great lengths to ship their products discretely so that's really not a huge issue. As long as you don't have FedEx lined up unloading massive amounts of equipment to your house and call the attention of your neighbors, you should be good. Some things I order and have them shipped here and then some things I order through someone else and have them delivered to their house. Just ordered a new batch of lights and had them delivered elsewhere. But most of the things I order related to growing are always packaged so that it's definitely difficult to tell what's inside. So pull out that credit card and GO SHOPPING!!!! LOL TWW
