Police Shoot And Kill Homeless Man

Discussion in 'Pandora's Box' started by MunchieMan78, Jun 26, 2014.

  1. Police in Albuquerque flashbanged, shot, sicked an attack dog, and fired bean pellets at a homeless man after he agreed to leave the area he was camping at..and all they get is  a payed leave with no criminal charged?? Who else is sick and disgusted with police brutality in America? There's no excuse for this shit, cops are under the same laws as anyone else.

I feel you OP, but after countless cases I've read about where they were considered to be in the "right" and that their use of force was "okay" bc the police claimed to be in a situation where "their life was at potential risk".
Seems as though we can't do anything about it but always have a video recorder on as at all times to objectively document abuse of power by police to later be used a evidence, then pray the cop doesn't just get proabtion(when you can't work but you're not fired, I think "probation" was the word, or was it "leave") with pay or some bull.

  5. These are the people that are supposed to protect us but will end our lives no question asked over something as stupid as illegal camping -.-

  7. What are your solutions to the issue?

  8. Man how did they even find out he was up there? And furthermore what harm was he causing by being up there?

Seems like it was just some guy camping in the mountains...

  9. I think the first step is just to make people aware. Change can come but it's gotta take a lot of people to do it, right now the way police aren't held accountable for their actions is pitiful and I think not enough people are aware of just how bad it really is. And I know some people say "it's just a few bad apples, there's always can be a few people who mess up" that doesn't excuse the way that the police department always tries their hardest to cover this shit up and make these criminal cops get away with their actions squeaky clean. The system is pretty screwed up.

  10. None, apparently he had some kind of weapon on him I think it was a rifle but it wasn't out and pointed at anyone or anything, also the guy had a history of problems with the police i'm not sure if that's linked to why they acted like it was such a threat. This clearly over the line no matter how you look at it tho

  11. We had a riot after that happened lol. But that's nothing new for APD seriously it's not the only reason it's such a big deal is cuz they have to use lapel cams now due to all the police shootings

Did you just post this video without watching the entire thing?

Jesus christ, such a lazy world we live in.

Watch the fucking video, the guy clearly had knives in both hands!

I'm not advocating the police here, I just think if you are making threads and commenting about videos, at least watch the god damned thing!
