Hey all, Any frenchies here? I know France has gone "medical". I use brackets because the only thing they want to use is a sativex spray, which is synthetic unless i've been mistaken. So no actual MMJ. What's happening with the Cannabis Social Clubs ? They're seems to be hardly any recent news around.. I've read (sorry forgot to bookmark the page) that a new proposal for decriminalisation is happening. Basically i'm just asking if people have got any news for La France ! Cheers !
I'm living in a French overseas territory here in St Martin and would like to know the same thing. It's been over a year now since that grand announcement, and so far just the sativex has become available [ ! ] like you said. I guess it's not easy to launch a nationwide [ including overseas territories ] MMJ program, but I have absolutely no doubt that the French will do so in their own time and on their own terms.
The main problem with France is that thy're stuck up. They won't even talk about actual Medical Marijuana.. Somebody, a minister, a big doctor, whoever wants to propose something and they just say no without actually reading it. The only reason sativex is available is because it's not actual MJ. I suppose it's a good start, even though it has very limited applications and certain side effects(apparently, i've got to look into that), and it's synthetic.. Maybe one day, if the UK or germany or italy, or really any other big european country legalizes medical use, or even a general de-criminalization (or even like Spain). Maybe then France will realize.
They are a bit stuck up aren't they FT, but they've just had it stuck up them by the Germans in the World Cup - serves 'em right for not getting their MMJ act together !

I was in Paris a few months ago. Very cool city. There are more enchanting bars in that place than my seasoned liver can handle. The day they fully legalize will be a great day for humanity. Paris fits into a very small circle of cities that work with the herb especially well. There are many, many good vibes there. If I manage to finish something in time, I may go for the Tour De France finale this year. *cross fingers
