ok so my female i planted in april looks like its slowly dying :( so, i decided to plant 4 more. today they have just sprouted. from what i understand 12/12 is just a recommendation to induce flowering indoors, and 14/10 should induce it outdoors, which is what is taking place in my area now. with that being said will my plants start flowering immediately after they show sex? I've read about force flowering and it just doesnt seem logical.

If you're growing them exactly the same as the one that's dying why are you expecting a different result?

  5. The main difference between growing outdoor versus indoor is that the flowering process takes longer outdoors. At 12 and 12 they will show flowers within 2 weeks or less, outdoors it can take a month. The plants sense the shortening day but it's not like straight 12 and 12 where they go "holy shit I have to flower now!". I germed some seeds several weeks ago and I'm giving them additional light in the evening to maximize veg growth. After 4 weeks or so I'll let them have natural light and they should start blooming by August 1st and be ready to harvest by October 15.

  6. im not.

  7. so if i put a black trash bag over it for a few days replicating 12/12 , and took it off , since the days are shortening now, would that make em flower?

  8. So they just sprouted right? and their not an auto-flowering variety I'm guessing. If all that is true why not let them have natural sunlight and when they're mature enough they should start flowering. I don't think trying to force them to flower when their so young is going to work very well.

  9. I just re-read your first post. I think you had it figured out already. They'll start flowering when they are sexually mature. Your best bet is to let nature take it's course. Good luck!

  10. No. In Florida it would heat them up and kill them. Do not put black bags over your plants. Flower season starts in August. You will get flowers but not as much as you would had you planted in late March/ early April. Good luck.

  11. i meant when they showed preflowers haha thanks though!
