just an idea ive been toying with mate. my tent is in a damp cellar and im struggling with humidity. ive only got one electric socket down there. got everything runnng thru a surge proof 4gang, but with 3 fans, a dehumidifier and 2 lights all coming from that one socket its a bit dodgey. if solar panels work well enough under cfls / leds to power any type of fans then its just free air circulation for me.

yeah 240v mate and 200w on the cfl and 135w on the led so far. ah well was just an idea. i wouldnt be using any more pwer than im already using. was just hoping to grab a bit of that spare light and use it for some free circulation. was worth asking. my uncle said i could have a solar panel he used at his caravan to trickle charge his batteries
