Hey, I'm growing for the first time and I have just finished germinating my seeds and I have planted them today. I plan on growing my plants outdoors but first I am keeping them in for the first 3 weeks so they can vegetate. Throughout the day I put my plants by the window to get heat from the sun, but now I have noticed my soil seems to be cold after watering them (for the first time). I have decided to use a homemade heat mat to warm them up abit at night when the sun is down. I made the heat mat by boiling water and wetting a flannel, then putting it in a plastic bag. This doesn't last long but I can keep redoing it (ghetto) haha. I was wondering if this is a good idea or if I should not bother? I am growing Lowryder 2 (autoflowering). Any help is appreciated
