Do I Need A Washington State Id To Get A Medical Card?

    Hello! I'm going to be moving to washington in a month, and am currently out here on vacation prepping. I'll be living with family so everything is straightened out with the living situation. The relatives I am living with are medical marijuana patients and need to renew their licenses. I also am trying to get my medical card. I have all my paperwork for the medical issues and all the documented history. Although, since i have not officially moved there yet, i do not have a washington state id. Will i need this to get a medical card in the state of washington? I had difficulty finding this online.

    Yes you need a Washington state ID to get a medical card in Washington

    Don't worry cuz it's legal anyway now. You don't need a medical card to buy/use anymore right?

    Nope, just gotta be 21, willing to pay quite a bit, and able to find a shop that actually has any in stock right now :p

    i think your medical card is a standalone I.D just for purchasing cannabis. But it's legal for everyone there, so you really don't need to get one. Just go chill. at the only legal shop in Washington.

    Supposedly there's going to be a store opening in my town. I hope so and can't wait! Right now I get it from a friend who knows how to get it, and she doesn't charge me a whole lot so it's good.

    I need to move to Denver. My town's lame. Thank god my best friend grows. Cause i hate dealing with all the half-brained nitwits trying to make a living selling 20 sacs. it digusts me.

    They still have separate medical in Washington and it's actually far cheaper than recreational as far as I know

    i believe it. Why wouldn't it be, the medical shops make more money. In cali they basically hand out cards.

    There are major benefits to getting your medical card still though. Better prices, edibles, more variety, hash, you can grow...all things that are non existent with the "legal market"

    Med cards arn't that hard to get. I could probably get one for my insomnia, that gets untreated because i don't want to take prescription medications for it.

    I was thinking about getting one for my Fibromyalgia, insomnia, and anxiety/depression.
