Anyone ever seen the foil backed insulation board? celotex is one brand i believe..or so my father says.

its foam board with insulation quality but it can be bought with a foil backing to it.  i was wondering if anyone has ever thought of using this for its insulating and reflective properties?

seems like it could kill 2 birds with one stone,ya know? one side is usually covered with the manufacturers logo but the other side is just foil. i ran across the idea rebuilding my front sun room. started pulling off drywall and found that stuff behind it,

  2. I used it once to build a temporary wall to create a grow space under some stairs.  It worked pretty well, but with the insulation properties you have to think about the potential for unwanted heat build up if you're using HID lights, and I'm not 100% sure it's as reflective as some other materials.  But it's cheap and super easy to work with.  Foil tape and an exacto knife are all you need.
