  1. So I have planted a seed into a jiffy pellet and I am currently using a humidity dome and a heat mat. My plant is out of the soil sprouting and its the 2nd day for my baby out of the soil and im wondering when do i remove the humidity dome and take it off of the heat mat?

  2. Yes you should get rid of the humidity dome and heat mat. Are you doing an indoor or outdoor grow? If its indoor then you should have it underneath the light as soon as it pops through the soil. It is also a very good idea to have an oscillating fan to strengthen the stem and help keep moisture from ruining your roots. If your planting outdoors I've heard people say its always better to start indoor for a couple weeks then move outdoors when you have to transplant. Either put it on the window where it can get plenty of sun or slowly introduce it to the outside. Always check on your seedlings; especially if they haven't been in the sun too much, you don't want to stress out the little girl with too much heat.

  3. alright I will remove the dome tommorow and the mat but its only an inch out the soil

  4. Neither of those are necessary to begin with. Seeds will germinate and sprout anywhere from 40 degrees to 100 degrees (70-75 being optimal). Seedlings don't need much humidity either. They will do fine with humidity of 35-50%. Put the sprouts under light asap or they will start to stretch in as little as few hours without adequate light.
