Carl Sagan/science Books

Discussion in 'The Bookshelf' started by shermdawg767, Jun 18, 2014.

  1. I've recently been interested in his work and was wondering if anyone has any of his books? I was thinking about picking up cosmos or pale blue dot though I'm not sure what either is about.
I often read a lot of books relating to science because I like to keep myself well inform about the world we live in. If you can recommend anything by Sagan, or any book concentrating in the sciences (wether it's biology, psychology, etc.) would be great. Thanks Everyone!

Get them both but if you have to choose one go with cosmos. Intelligent life in the universe is another good one by him. Brief history of time by Stephen hawing, The whole shebang by Timothy ferris. These are space books.

  3. I read A Brief History of Time, I think Stephen hawking did a good job it make things really hard to grasp more understandable to a common person though I was a little lost in some parts of the book.
