I'm so sick of this scumbag running the state I reside in, his thinking is so backwards. And his comment that "there's a huge demand for is marijuana. Not medical marijuana," is absurd. There is no such thing as "Medical Marijuana" all marijuana is medicinal, it's just a legal term.

While I don't see him winning the Republican nomination I'll definitely be switching from Independent to Republican just so I can vote against him in the primary. If this man became president somehow it would be a disaster.

  2. Because people who work in or around the medical field don't want to eat and keep the lights on? And the irony of saying this, while a few select pharmaceutical companies are given the field by the government to monopolize and rake in obscene amounts.

Not surprising though, Christie is such a sorry sack. Just hope any presidential ambitions he may have are short-lived!

  3. no worries, the man has no shot at presidency.

  4. Christie should regulate the amount of cheeseburgers he eats, before the starts talking about what other people can do with their bodies.

  5.
Yeah it's funny that he thinks he has the knowledge to tell people what's good and what's bad, yet he can't even manage his own health.

How can there be a demand when NO ONE QUALIFIES? We have to be on our deathbeds in order to even be able to sniff a prescription for medical marijuana in this state. And even then the doctors are terrified to prescribe it, due to the stigma that comes with the territory.

I am ashamed and embarrassed to call this clown our governor.

  7. "I am not going to allow de-facto legalization of marijuana in this state or regular legalization of marijuana in this state by statute. It's not going to happen on my watch."

Says the guy who's minions held the bridge hostage so he could pout. Being in a position of authority doesn't mean you're the King. Aren't government positions supposed to be in service of the people?

    Slow & steady ftw

Crispy Creme set the program up to fail, so it's no surprise that it will.

From starting off by delaying it's start for almost two years after it was voted in, making it near impossible to get a recommendation, and then limiting where and how a patient can get access to MMJ.

My opinion is he did this so he could say, "I'm for compassionate care, I fulfilled the will of the people, but see I was right along. It's just not needed."

He's a bully now, and always has been.

    Gotta love this too,

""What did these folks say?" the governor said Monday. "They weren't making enough money. You know, if this was a medical program, what's everybody worried about making money for?"

I don't know Governor, why is the average salary of a doctor $200,000. a year? I mean this idea that people don't make money in the medical industry is the fallacy here.

  9. You can learn a lot about a mans true intentions by his actions.. Like deliberately running his states mmj program into the ground. More specifically, attacking cannabis while allowing alcohol and tobacco sales to thrive. The former greatly helps people, the latter contributes to violence, drunk driving, various disease and the death of 500k+ people a year.

  10. He's playing a political role. Even Hilary the Shrew looks OK compared to him, and that's all it takes in this farce of a two party system.

  11.
Dont worry mr. christie, the people of your state will let you know what they think of that stance come next election.

  12. I might suggest marching into the awaiting hands of whomever is not Chris Christie is potentially equally dangerous.
I think the Bush and Clinton families have taught us all a valuable lesson in global power families and the lack of polticial choice therein.
    Right Barack?

  13. This is going to sound really weird coming out of my mouth but here it goes... I rather have Bush as my governor than this fat turd. Who voted this guy into office i sure as hell didn't.

  14. Legislators, as well as executive politicians, do this stuff all the time. The laws are written as half ass concessions to what people want, put together so they utterly fail and "prove" what a bad idea it was in the first place.

  15. Christie's a huge hypocrite. Hes begging for sports betting and allowed online gambling, which no one wanted, BTW. Hes just another crooked politician trying to get on the casinos payroll.

I'm saving up as much money as i can to move out of this place.

Yeah it's funny how he has used the federal law trumps state law argument against cannabis, yet he disregards it for online gambling.

    Right there with ya man.

  17. What a moron hahaha.

  18.
Gambling obviously doesn't destroys families like marijuana does .... uh wait a minute.

Fuck Christie...NJ is failing...2 casinos shutting down this summer alone...and a possible..over 5,000 people will be out of work.Yet he is talking as if he doesn't want marijuana ruining the "REP" of NJ...

This state is a joke...no one wants to ride on these shit toll roads so the answer? Raise the tolls to compensate for low ridership. I know recreational marijuana would bring big business to Atlantic City..

Regardless it's telling how fucking cocky this fat fuck is...stonewalling Medical at all costs trying to appeal to his voter base..(actually his backdoor dealings).

The guy could lower the penalties for possession but of course he won't....gotta appeal to those police chiefs who doing busts so they can get decked out Dodge chargers with special paintjobs.

  20. This really makes me feel nauseated.
