[First Grow] A White Lady In The Wild

Discussion in 'Outdoor Grow Journals' started by Ghostbustaar, Jun 17, 2014.

  1. Hello everybody !! From Canada with love, here is the journal of my first grow ever. Due to a shitty spring (nonexistent i might even say) i lost all my plant but one. Here is her story.

White widow feminized from king crop.

    Soil mix : Bone/blood meal, 1/8
    Vermiculite / airy stuff : 1/3
high quality Potting mix for the remaining.

I let it relax for three weeks before using it.

She is in full sunlight exposure all day long. so If there's sun to catch, she'll get it.

May 19 / So, here is my baby at about 1 month old. Note that she's was that size for about 3 weeks, kind of frozen there. I decided to take the pict because of the two little leaf creeping out in the middle.

May 29 / 10 days later she started to get some rhythm. The two tiny leaves you saw on the last one were the same size as the to others. She was now totally awake. Plus the weather was getting crazy good (in the day, had to keep her in at night).

  4. Quick update june 20 - Day 32 /

Say i came home this afternoon and found my lady almost uprooted because of the wind. The very base of the steam was moving with the wind. So i secured it with a stick/loose tie wrap at the base of the stem.

Sorry for the pict, on my cellphone...

  7. 07-02 day 44/

Sorry for the late update, just been dumped by my girlfriend plus a shit load of work kept me away from the computer...

Anyway. Repoting has been done. The root system was beautifull but was about to bound to the pot. I did it just in time.

I got attacked by some bugs also. I kept them away and slowed the leaf eating with cayenne/water mix.

Question : is "Bugs Be Gone" too toxic for weed or is it ok to use ?

Thanks you and as usual any critism, question or anything is welcomed.

The fungus seems to be coming back a little bit but the next treatement should get rid of what has survived.

She's keeping up with the solid growth and look healty to me. I trimmed again some leaves (3-4) that were to damaged and dead.

    Day 66/

Quick update today, i had time to take a couple of pict from diferent angle and one from far away.

She's still growing at least a 1/4 inche everday or so but most of the growing happen in the secondary branches.

I'm a first time grower and I'm amazed how much and fast this plant can grow.

My fungal problem is coming back slowly but the next spray is scheduled in 3 days and I expect to get rid of it completely this time.

By the way I see many views but not many comment, please feel free to leave your impressions or advices !

Smell awesome also, smokey citrus. First time I smell something like that. Maybe the proximity of the BBQ!

  13. Day 73/

Nutes yesterday. Wonderfull reaction as usual.

I mistyped the heigh earlier, it was not almost 5 but 4 feet, and she's past it now!

Most of the developement comes from secondary branches. Still amazed by how fast those plant grow.

I included upclose shot for fun. She is massive. There's one with a lighter to compare the base of the steem.

  15. Day 78/

For some reason I had to go full guerilla on sunday  thank god she was still in her pot! But what a spec ops to take that huge thing to the woods .... anyway, I made it and now she's somewhere prety safe. >_>

Tonight I will go and look for any damage and see how she reacted to the shock. Will also take a huge piss around the spot and spray some bugspray around, leave some beer trap for snails and all the other usual stuff for anything that could eat my baby.

Will keep you updated, but I will keep photo to a minimum.

Keeping my finger crossed, flowering is coming, such a bad timing :(

    Day 79/

So she took her first day in the real wild positively! She exploded to 5 feet B)

So as scheduled I treated her with the last shot of fungicide to make sure nothing is left. (The white on the leaves is the fungicide).

I switched her nute for the flowering one I baught. Started 1/3 of the dose today. She usualy loves it.

I also took care of pest control but I forgot the snail trap with beer. Next time.

No sign of flowering, should I be worried ?

  17.
All my girls seem to be flowering a little late this year, but by now you should see some pistils to at least let you know it's a girl

  18. i have some master kush outside in a gurillia grow and mine also havent started flowering yet. dont panik, they will start flowering when the light cycle has changed and aslong as the days stay longer then the night you wont go into flowering. your plant should have the little hairs where the braches separate. nice plant by the way!

  19. Thanks for the input guys, and yes she's clearly a girl, pistils are clearly visibles! Let's wait then ! :D

    Day 84/

So, she clearly benefits from the all day sun she as acces to.

Also the weather is great. 2 days of sun for 1 day of rain. Perfect balence IMO.

She's is getting much much more bushier. All the main branches are 12 inches long at least. I'm simply amazed how this thing can develop.

    1 pict as usual
