Pa Ard Drug Testing

i think you will be just fine. you've gone this long. gotta do your time. i'm sure that if it was a drug charge, there will be random drug testing involved.

I've seen mixed reports. Officially, the ARD program runs random drug tests. However, I've read several reports from people who went through the program that were never tested. Still - I wouldn't push my luck. It's going to suck not being able to smoke, but I think it's better than violating probation.
 
Then again, I've read it's pretty easy to get weed in prison.

 

Dude just don't smoke. That being said I never got tested. Basically for me I had to volunteer, see a drug counselor, and go to a class along with paying fines. The biggest thing is finding a drug counselor that doesn't give a fuck. Otherwise they might test you. Don't fuck up cuz you can get dropped from the program.oh, and this was 10 years ago so I'm not sure if things changed.

 

Yes you will get tested.  Does knowing that make things different somehow?  I mean holy crap you aren't going through heroin withdrawals you can go the few months without smoking weed.  Unless you are weak minded.

OP, if you can't stop smoking pot until your probation is over...commit yourself to an asylum so the children of the world will be safe from your lack of impulse control.

 

You can't be around those friends when you're in trouble. I'm in the same boat. Find a new hobby until its over so nothing worse happens

Been there and done that. I had 1yr of ard and never see. A po took a piss test or anything. Get a dui and get get the po and all that bs. But in 14 months only my innitial piss test. But my po did say it was pointless to piss test me cuz after I got hurt and put on a shit load of superstrong pain meds. He said he isnt worried about pot and told me anything to get away from pain meds. From my expeirence just dont bullshit ur po. And hopefulley u will get a decent one.

Oh yeah btw if u want to know how to keep ur po off ur back. Just work or go to school or both. As long as u show u r trying to be productive in society they will just concentrate on the people who constantly f up.

 

Pencil vein ya breaks my heart. It's rediculous to put somebody on probation and test them for a small amount. It's absolutly criminal if they incarserate anyone that tests positive for THC. My spelling sucks.

 

You should be okay. I've been on ARD for a year now. I actually just got mine extended cause I didn't pay it off in time. Anyways the last time i seen my po officer was a year ago when I was placed on it. I have yet to be drug tested, I never recived a call from him. The only fhing I have to do is send him an email monthly. Which he doesn't even respond to.

 

I've been on PA ARD for over 10 moths and have yet to be called in or even contacted by my PO. I've occasionally toked during this time but am clean now because I'm done in less than 2 months.
 
I'd LOVE to smoke, as I'm an older dude and it honestly helps with joint pain and anxiety, but the risk of getting busted this far in keeps me from toking on the nugs I still have access to.
 
For the guys talking shit and calling you weak-minded lets see them go from pulling tubes daily to NO WEED FOR A YEAR or TWO in your case. It's easy to talk shit when it isn't your ass on the line, but if you rely on cannabis instead of prescription drugs for symptom management and blowing off steam it's a bit harder then passing up a chance to get ripped and listen to some tunes or zone out on some fucking Nintendo before your parents come home.
 
Until this fucked up legislature passes some reasonable laws re cannabis intoxication instead of testing metabolites for the joint I smoked last week we'll unfortunately have to deal with this system of revenue allocation. For the record my delta was just over 2.0ng/ml (less than twice the limit considered "intoxicated" in more enlightened states) and carboxy was around 8.0ng.ml. It's all about the benjamins, not "rehabilitation" or keeping the public "safe". If it was they'd be busting the guy selling heroin behind me instead of shaking down an employed, nonviolent and socially vested member of their contributing tax base.
 
Funny how a heroin junkie that'll rob or blow a motherfucker will test clean in max 7 days while a pothead can go for 3 months and still test positive... wtf? The only attributable "gateway-drug" effect from pot is the result of irrational lawmaking.

 

Pot or jail man, is it that hard? This kinda proves that weed is somewhat addictive to some people

Well my stint is up tomorrow... still no testing after 364 days.
 
I doubt I'll receive my golden ticket tomorrow in the mail on time, so I'm planning on keeping things cool until I have the notice of termination in my hand and a confirmation call in to my PO.
